So rude/impolite and non professional service.
I normally don’t criticize the restaurants if there is something really bad about them, because I respect the founders passion and hard work to keep their business open.
Rude behavior welcome started at19:30 (we have a reservation) they asked where we want to seat inside or outside.
We answered outside, waited for 5 minutes, and they took us outside. When asked to be sure if the table they mentioned is true, they replied with “there is only one table there” I must figure out their rudeness from that moment.
Menu took 15 minutes to arrive , and they took orders after waiting for another 15 minutes. So be ready to wait for 30 minutes to give an order. We ordered 1 starter to share and 2 main courses.
They forget the starter but bring the main courses after 15 minutes. Another minus.
The food was kind of cold like it was prepared but also kept inside to be delivered for some time. Food is mediocre, not at high standards as you would expect.
We are trying to be positive. After we finished our meal, it again took another 15 minutes for them to ask if we want to check the dessert menu, yes …. 10 minutes no menu. Then they remember to bring the menu, sorry. We ordered, waited another 20 mins and no desserts arrived. Go inside, pay the bill and leave. They even don’t want to apologize for this service and issues. I must figure out this is going to happen from the first impression.
Decision is yours. I hope the owner reads this review and thinks again about how to treat clients. Your job must not be making your...
Read moreWhile wandering through the charming streets of Amsterdam, I stumbled upon a seemingly random Italian restaurant that turned out to be an absolute hidden gem. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm, authentic atmosphere that immediately transported me to the heart of Italy. The entire staff was Italian, and their hospitality was nothing short of exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they served.
But the real highlight was the pasta. It was, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked al dente and bursting with rich, authentic flavors, every bite felt like a love letter to traditional Italian cuisine. You could taste the freshness of the ingredients and the love that went into preparing each dish. It wasn’t just a meal — it was an experience.
Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, I ordered the chocolate soufflé for dessert. It was absolutely incredible — warm, soft, and decadent with a perfectly gooey center. The rich, velvety chocolate paired beautifully with a scoop of vanilla gelato on the side, making each bite even more indulgent. It was the perfect finale to an already unforgettable meal.
In a city full of culinary treasures, finding a place like this felt truly special. It wasn’t flashy or overly polished — just genuine, delicious food served with heart. I’m already looking forward to going back on my next trip to Amsterdam. If you’re lucky, you might stumble upon this little slice...
Read moreNice little italian restaurant - ideal for dates or celebrations. We went there on a friday evening for dinner and I would advice to make a booking as the restaurant isn't too big and it can get quite busy.
We ordered the sharing starter, the pasta that is cooked on the Parmigiano cheese block and the daily special (lobster spaghetti).
Starter: VERY large and basically has a bit of everything. You get a long plate filled with a selection of meats/cheese/other starters available on the menu; a portion of mussles and a portion of moussaka. The starter was lovely and allows you to try a bit of everything
Parmigiano pasta: in all honesty, it was nice but nothing amazing. The pasta was cooked in the kitchen and then the cheese was added in front of you on the large cheese block with flames. Portion size wasnt massive but as we had a massive starter, it was more than enough.
Lobster spaghetti: this dish was definitely not the best. You get half a lobster with this dish and the tools to crack the lobster claws so be prepared to get your hands dirty. (a wet wipe and apron is provided). overall this dish was a simple spaghetti tossed in olive oil a d some tomatoes (at least thats what it looked and tasted like) with half a lobster and some mussles on the side. For the price, not worth it.
The starter I would recommend but I wasnt a fan of the pasta.
Pets are allowed in this restaurant as we saw some customers bring their dog in and sat next to...
