AVOID IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES!!!!

I have multiple serious allergies which I made aware to the waitress. I ordered chips as I thought it would be a safe option, when the food came out there was a sauce on the chips. So we asked are waitress what ingredients were in the sauce. She went to check with the chef and she came back and said they were okay for me to eat. I started eating them. Then she came out again and said there was milk in the chips and took them away. I repetitively asked her to speak to the chef or see the ingredients of the sauce which was ignored she walked away saying she didn’t know… then another waiter came to me and said the opposite that there was milk in the sauce and not the chips and then continued to smirk and act as if he was desperate to laugh. When we explained how dangerous it is that they don’t know about allergies they just shrugged their shoulders. We then got up to pay reluctantly which they said we didn’t have to pay. (That didn’t make up for the stress that was caused) This guy who I’m guessing is the owner?? Said there was no milk in anything I ate. I don’t know who to believe? Three different story’s from 3 different people.

I now feel sick thanks to your incompetent staff. Your staff are in desperate need...

Our experience at Snob was quite disappointing. From the start, the service was far from welcoming. The waiter was rude and made us wait an unusually long time just to place our order. After we finally received our food, no one checked on us to see if we needed anything else.

When it came time to pay, we had to get up and ask if we could settle the bill, as the waiter never approached us. Eventually, the waiter came over and handed us the full bill. We politely asked if we could pay separately, to which he agreed, but instead of calculating it properly, he simply divided the bill by four. This was frustrating, as I had only ordered tea but was expected to pay nearly €20.

When we requested to be charged for what each of us actually consumed, the waiter left the bill on the table and told us to figure it out ourselves before walking away. We had to manually calculate the individual amounts and then wait again for him to return.

We were exploring Amsterdam when we got hungry and started looking for a burger place. My wife and me found SNOB on google maps. It had a good rating and the fotos looked good as well. We made our way there and once we arrived we both noticed the artisan and well curated interior design. We had no reservation and were very pleased that they were able to give us a table. I went for the classic (double) burger and my wife for the salmon bowl. I was blown away by the burger. It was so delicious, the right amounts of snob sauce meat, buns and just overall well balanced. My tastebuds were going crazy. A 10/10 burger experience!

But that was not it. We also went for the dua lipa dessert(see fotos). It was, simply said, incredible. The olive oil, the salt flakes, the ice cream, the baked angel hair gave the dessert so many levels and they were perfectly harmonized with each other. A 13/10 dessert!

I am going to add this to my list of places that I want to come back to.
