Club Prime in Amsterdam is a vibrant nightlife spot located in the heart of the city's bustling Rembrandtplein. It offers a lively atmosphere perfect for those looking to dance the night away to an eclectic mix of music genres, from mainstream hits to more niche tracks depending on the night. The club has a laid-back vibe, attracting a diverse crowd, including locals, tourists, and international students.
Atmosphere & Music: The interior of Club Prime is relatively compact, contributing to a more intimate clubbing experience. The sound system is solid, and the DJs are skilled at reading the crowd, keeping the energy levels high. The lighting and decor are fairly standard but effective in creating a fun, party-friendly environment. On weekends, the club can get crowded, but this only adds to the lively atmosphere.
Drinks & Service: The bar offers a decent selection of drinks, with standard pricing for a club in central Amsterdam. The bartenders are efficient and friendly, although during peak hours, getting a drink might require a bit of patience. The staff overall are professional and do a good job of managing the crowd.
Entry & Value: Entry fees are generally reasonable, and the club often has promotions or themed nights that add extra value. The dress code is casual, making it a welcoming venue for everyone. However, it’s worth noting that like many popular spots in Amsterdam, Club Prime can get quite packed, so arriving early is advisable if you want to secure a good spot on the dance floor.
Final Thoughts: Club Prime is a solid choice for a fun night out in Amsterdam, especially if you’re looking for a lively atmosphere without the pretentiousness of more exclusive venues. It’s not a place for those seeking luxury, but if you’re after a good time with great music in a friendly, unpretentious setting, Club Prime is definitely...
Read moreDisappointing and Unwelcoming Experience at Club PRIME
I recently visited Club PRIME with high hopes for a fun night out, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The moment I spoke to the guards for the entrance, it was clear that this establishment fell short of expectations. The guards seemed disinterested, inattentive, and asked us to leave and go to the other club nearby. From the moment I approached the entrance, it was evident that hospitality was not a priority for this establishment. The guards exhibited rude and unwelcoming behavior, treating patrons with unnecessary hostility and disdain. Instead of greeting guests with a smile and ensuring a smooth entry process, they seemed intent on asserting their authority in the most abrasive manner possible. Their lack of professionalism was glaringly evident as they barked orders and made snide remarks to those in line, creating an atmosphere of tension and discomfort. It felt more like a military checkpoint than a welcoming entrance to a club.
Their actions not only tarnished the club's reputation but also left a sour taste in my mouth before even setting foot inside. Such behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the overall experience offered by Club PRIME.
Overall, my experience at Club PRIME was highly unsatisfactory. I would not recommend it to anyone based on the disrespectful and rude behavior exhibited by its security guards outside. A club should be a place of enjoyment and relaxation, but unfortunately, my experience was...
Read moreWorst night in Amsterdam! I’m from denmark and wanted to party with my girlfriend and my friend and his girlfriend. We went to Prime and were offered a table with a bottle and mixers for €200. We paid and had a good time at first. After about 40 minutes, me and my friend went outside to get some air. Al of a sudden, our girlfriends came out carrying our jackets and things. They were told by security that we had been kicked out and was not allowed to return inside. We were talking to security outside and smoking with him when they came. They had been told that we were all “too drunk” to be at the club. We had only been there for less than 1 hour and our bottle was not even empty. We asked them why and they told us to just leave. We noticed that a lot of people were thrown out for the same reason even though they were still sober or had a little to drink. Come to find out that they had an after party that night and wanted to empty the club a bit so new people could arrive to their event and be able to by bottles and sitting. We had already spent €200 and paid about €75 each (4 people!) to be allowed to be in the club and sit where we wanted to sit. We felt like we’ve been robbed and they tricked us! I would never ever recommend Prime to anybody! If you want to have a good time and really enjoy your night than stay away from prime. This club should be closed...
