I stepped in after a cold walk looking for a place to have a quick coffee. I am a disabled person - I have a brain damage, sound can be very painful therefore I am using a hearing aid. The music was too loud for me, so I asked if it’s possible to take it down - explaining that I am disabled and it’s painful for me. The barista said it’s already low volume and when I insisted she asked the manager that refused. My friend explained that otherwise we will have to leave, that this is discrimination. The manager response was that they have to choose between the clients (there was 2 men working on their laptops) or me, and they don’t want to ruin the ambiance.
I don’t blame them, I guess they just never felt what it’s like being disabled (luckily!). To be honest, the only moments when I feel disabled is when people make it clear that I am not welcome somewhere because it requires some extra effort from them. To make a place accessible for people with disabilities is never comfortable, and I am aware that it might feel like a burden. But disabled people are part of the society, and by not accepting to make it accessible she made me feel like a burden myself.
Usually I don’t write reviews but that was very hurtful and soon after leaving I burst into tears. I gotta say I find it quite funny that the name of the hotel is conscious, while the service felt very unconscious...

The coffee? Absolutely fantastic. From rich espressos to frothy cappuccinos, every cup feels like it’s made with care. And if you’re an early bird, you’re in luck – coffee is cheaper before 9 AM, which is perfect for those pre-work meetups.
What really stands out here, though, is the staff. The employees are incredibly kind, always wearing a smile, and they go out of their way to make sure everyone feels at home. Whether you need recommendations or just a friendly chat, they’ve got you covered.
The café itself is adorable, with a cozy, inviting vibe. It’s the kind of place where you could easily spend hours, either working or catching up with friends. If you haven’t been yet, it’s definitely worth...
Read moreFor a baby shower we booked a high tea. The menu we booked included champagne, but since we didn't drink alcohol we were allowed to choose some juices from the fridge instead. Very generous that they were compensating in such a way. Asan amuse we got a broccoli dish, really tasty. The several tea options - loose tea yay! - were unique and nice. Matcha latte with latte art is a plus! There were sanwiches, quiches, cookies, pastries... all veey delicious and I would definitely recommend!
Ambience wise I was a little disappointed because it looked more industrial then expected. Nonetheless staff was really kind and we were allowed to decorate for the baby shower ourselves.
It was tricky to find the entrance the place - few of us walked past because there was some weird text on the board thing above - Sticky Fingers was only mentioned...
