OT301 — Attraction in Amsterdam

It works, it's fun, it's a cool venue with a good variety of cultural choices. Check it out you'll probably like it. Not really as alternative as they would have you believe. Don't come here for a glimpse into Amsterdam's glorious anarchist belief system - it's absent. This is the newer, younger face of capitalism with a sprinkle of alternative ideology to mask the heart. Take Cinema of the Damm'd they say it's free to come but they ask for donations (not free then is it?) Their drinks are expensive (because it's free), The wine was the smallest glass I have ever been given - less than 100ml for €3, a standard glass is 125ml - which would be acceptable if it wasn't for the constant yarn about the need for donations (they're not lying & they seem to use the money well) together with the pricing. De Peper the vegan restaurant us the perfect example of playing alternative. They buy everything in the super dodgy expensive chain 'health' store, crow about it being organic & vegan but ignore that it's pretty disastrous in terms of taste & food combinations generally. But hey, I'm just a meat eater who's been cooking so called vegan food for decades Again the children of the over privileged pay lip service to ideas they study but do not or have never lived. This is their version & it works...

I have been coming here for the past decade and have never been disappointed about anything. In fact, each year they get better at the quality of the artists, best sound quality by far, best lighting effects and top notch visuals. And what I personally love the most, staff aren’t just friendly to people like myself. They became like a family and really good bunch of people who will always keep everyone safe and one can barely notice any problems even if they occasionally occur. I’m always happy when I come from that place because it’s not just a party that I visit but with the right ambient and mindset it becomes a spiritual and scientific experience created by excellent team work of lights and VJ team. Sound and lights together will take you to a higher dimension than you have ever been able to achieve on your own....

I love this place - the staff here are super friendly, and considerate of their elderly neighbours operating a door system to ensure there's no noise disturbance from inside the club whilst letting people outside to smoke.

My partner left his cap in the club the last time we visited - I reached out to see if it was in lost property, Monika from the club was super helpful, sending me pictures of whatsapp to check it was the right item they had in lost property - which it was :-)

The space is intimate but not too crowded, with a main dancing room and a separate quieter bar area with sofa's for if you need to chill for a bit. This place has more niche music, is rough around the edges and attracts an eclectic mix of people - highly...
