I was quite excited when this now place started in-between my home and my work, especially with so many high reviews. I therefore went there last week. Just to try, I took two simple Thai dishes: Pad Thai and Tom Yam soup. I know these dishes very well, both from Thailand and from restaurants in Holland. The Tom Yam soup was quite a disappointment. There was no mix of hot and sour; it actually was just a salty brine with some vegetables in it. The Pad Thai was nothing special but at least not salty. There was free kroepoek, but this looked like the standard Dutch Indonesian Restaurant type, not anything original Thai. When I saw that, it already seemed an alarm bell. Beautiful take out restaurant with some seats. They've been open for three weeks now. There was actually another couple waiting for their order, but I made sure they were not in the shot. Very friendly and helpful and a very clean place.

Told them I was a bit cautious with "spicy" when ordering at a Thai place and they said my choice of spring rolls and Priew Waan should be fine.

They were absolutely right and I think any kid would love this dish. This big one certainly did. I went for the shrimp and kids might play along with the chicken better. You might be a little bit surprised while looking at the photo as the interior doesn't match the restaurant one. The explanation is really simple. This is only a takeaway place. HOWEVER, we have been told we can just cross the street and go to the bar over there and the staff will bring us the food. Which really happened after like 10-15 minutes! It's a win-win-win situation for both places and for their customers. Big portions, super nice service.
