The Coffeebrand — Restaurant in Amsterdam

• I got a notification from Google that they are asked from google review to delete my review as I made a violation of policies. So here I am to upload the same written review that I shared before. * Please don't try to hide if you did something wrong. On the 15th of April 2023 at 12:00ish pm this review is about the young girl who is working there. She was extremely rude and had low customer service skills towards me She told me there is a door to get out and she showed me a different kind of face inside when I left she came back from a customer table and showed me her tongue at the door. I had never seen this in my life. I was in shock. She said klaen and r*op! I do not speak Dutch properly but I do know several words. I don’t know what’s wrong with her. I use to work as a waitress before so is not like I’m a selfish lady with bad behaviour with workers I know how hard is to work in customer service and there are many rude customers and long hour shifts with no time to sit down and relieve yourself. I do not expect her to like me or to be extremely nice. I’m not a queen but I expect some respect I do pay for the food and the service at the end of the day. I have been to this place twice when the owner ( a gentleman ) was here, of course, the service was different. I ordered 3 eggs scrambled eggs with toast and 2 orange juice. First, she gave me the glass filled 60% not even. I said nothing but the second time I told her could you please fill the glass properly as this is not what should give out? She straight away got so mad.

( what I think is If you want to give less then you could serve in a smaller glass. It's just really offensive that you give a half-full glass of juice. It's like I'm not being appreciated as a customer. Like I should be happy that I can seat in and be happy what you get. But is not like this.

She told me I don’t know the prices and I should be happy as that’s what I get and if I don’t like it I can look around. She was swearing at me. I had no bad words for her and I talked to her calmly. I told her: ‘ Excuse me what’s your name’ so I can add it to my reviews she refused of course. But it’s fine actually. Her colleague said if I want to give a review I can. Something like this. The music was good and the food nice the eggs a bit oily but everything was nice. I would come back because the food and music were nice but I will not because of the way she was acting. I’m sad that she was acting like this as it’s just not a good start to the day for all of us. She was working with a lady who was wearing a headscarf they are not the same age she wasn’t rude and she was explaining her point of view regarding the orange juice. Of course, she didn’t like my point of view but she didn’t make faces or be rude or swear at me. She also tried to calm her down but did not have much success. ( when the girl stand up and made her bad behaviour her colleague opened her hand and showed her to stand back and stop it. Even after she was still speaking out...

I have honestly been to this restaurant 3 times. And twice I've had to leave before anyone even spoke to me because I sat there ignored for ten minutes. Both times I had my daughter with me. So 1/3 times I've been to this restaurant I've actually gotten to eat. And that one time was without a child. I'm not sure what the deal is because the first time I really enjoyed it. Food was good. The second time we had to leave I'd even chalk it up to a nice day outside and it was busy. But today there were four customers and five workers and no one even acknowledged us except the nice couple that just got their food to the immediate right...

What a way to start the day. Some really fluffy pancakes with tasty fruits and nice maple syrup. Also some nice salty options if you are more interest by eggs, cheese or sandwiches. Nice diversity of coffee, really your typical breakfast cafe, some nice lounge music, the sound of brewing coffee in the machine and everyone having their morning chat (can be a little noisy at time so maybe not the best place for a calm morning tho). And a great menu to eat...
