Ketelhuis Sonsbeek — Restaurant in Arnhem

My wife and I went here during a walk in the park. It’s a very nice location. My wife ordered avocado bagel which she very much disliked. I had the Dutch cuisine krockette which I enjoyed with the salad, which was very refreshing and nice acidic contrast to the fried food.

How ever, when we tried to check out they couldn’t use any of our cards. Our cards have worked at many other places in the Netherlands and in Europe so it was quite frustrating that none of our cards could be taken.

A serene spot in the park with perhaps one of the most beautiful terraces of the city. The waitress was very welcoming and the bites we ordered were also pretty good. The only annoying thing were the uncomfortable chairs, it certainly made it less nice to stay...

Vandaag 15 juli geweest, voordat we bediend werden stonden ze lekker te kletsen met elkaar toen kwam er eindelijk iemand , ik bestelde 2 aperol spritz waar ik vervolgens een half uur op heb moeten wachten, mensen na mij werden eerder geholpen. Ik vroeg aan het chagrijnige meisje waar mijn aperol bleef, zegt ze ook nog ''geduld is een schone zaak, het is druk''. Mijn man staat op en loopt weg, na deze opmerking, ik erachteraan en zegt ze ook nog dat ik nog 'moet 'betalen, voor iets wat ik niet gehad heb!, dan nog dat alle tafels vies waren en niet opgeruimd! Als je met zulke mensen je zaak moet runnen kun je er beter mee stoppen. Ik kom hier...
