Texas Ribs 'N Chicken — Restaurant in Arnhem

Personally I am that kinda person that is statisfied easily. But I always look at the food critically in case I am gonna review it and here is what I found: I only ate hamburger there but it was way to soggy, sloppy and a pitty petty. The sandwich is bigger then the petty. Nothing royal to expect when it comes down to toppings. For burgers even Burger king or McDonald's is better. Cozy place to sit but since it is mostly takeaway and delivery, it's a very small place with low atmosphere. Not you dine in place if you expect it. Workers are really friendly. The 2 stars for service is a bit of a smokescreen. They have the counter you approach it you order and take it to the table. Service is not bad also not non-existent. But (saying this very carefully hoping people understand what I mean) service isn't really needed there so it's not in the package. A 5 wouldn't have been fair and since my overall rating was a 2 I took it as a benchmark for the service review. If you very critical about quality don't go there. HOWEVER: If you just want a nice tasting burger just for the moment you live in and to have a bit it's well worth going. If you go don't expect Gordon Ramsay burgers. But if you don't care about that it's a a very (as in positive) average place for a burger.

Als het personeel mondkapjes had gedragen had gedragen had ik een 3 gegeven. Corona lijkt hier niet te bestaan. Praktisch alles wat ik heb gegeten was "meh"... Alleen de friet en cola waren wat je er van mag verwachten. Drumsticks zijn bedekt met bloem + standaard kipkruiden en smaakten alsof ze in ietwat oud vet gebakken waren, absoluut niks bijzonders aan. Maak deze gewoon lekker zelf thuis, 100x beter. Spareribs lijken slecht (en) voorgegaard te zijn, vlees is echt niet mals maar gelukkig ook geen droge troep. De "chipotle" is moeilijk terug te vinden in de berg saus die er overheen gesmeerd word. De (gratis) spicy hotdog ook extreem saai en onnodig gefrituurd, wel lekker veel jalapeño er op. De coleslaw heb ik nog niet geproefd maar ik verwacht dat het fabriekscoleslaw zal zijn. Wat ik wel netjes vind is dat warme en koude producten in aparte tasjes word meegegeven maar dat veranderd weinig aan de smaak. De ene gozer (van de vier) die aan het werk was was erg vriendelijk en beleefd. Ik hoop dat de burgers beter zijn maar de enige reden waarom ik hier nog eens terug zal komen is omdat er niks anders (lees: beters)...
