't Hart van Breda — Restaurant in Breda

This place was disappointing if I’m gonna be honest. I ordered the burger without the sauce and made sure they understand that I needed it on the side (for my friend to enjoy it) and not in the burger, then it came out with the sauce inside. I called a waiter to let her know but she acted annoyed and informed me that it’ll take a long time to make a new one and my friend would finish her lunch before me, I explained that I am allergic and would not mind the wait, she took the plate and 1 minute later came back with the same plate and when I lifted the bread it was clear the sauce was only wiped off! Who does that!! I called another waiter and explained the situation to her, she took the plate back and 10 minutes later I got my food as ordered. Mind you, no apology was offered, little to no care about your experience and enjoyment as a costumer, and zero remorse for putting a human being in harms way just because they’re too lazy to do the job correctly.

We came here specifically for the cocktail night as there was an offer that all cocktails are 8,50€. The first round we ordered by the waitress and the second round we ordered online because nobody was asking us if we wanted another drink. After ordering we noticed that the normal price of the cocktails got deducted and not the discount price. We asked why and they told us that they cannot change it due to the online system, which we understood. But as our first round hasn’t been payed for yet, we suggested that they just deduct it from the first round, however, they where not open to do that and became very unfriendly. The staff was very kind. We ordered the Mexican nacho dish. This was very tasty and had several layers of filling. There were many loose nachos on the side, for which we received no extra dipping sauce. We then asked for extra guacamole. Unfortunately, this jar of guacamole was VERY small. They did charge for this. (the nacho dish was already €18) We also asked for extra jalapenos, for which we also had to pay extra. We did not find or taste this anywhere in the dish. My partner had ordered a "Duvel" beer, which was served in a glass from the café itself and not in an original "Duvel" glass, very strange....
