Da Attilio — Restaurant in Breda

Afwul and disrespectful service. I was in breda with my girlfriend and our freind today for some house shopping in IKEA. After that we deceided that we can go and relax in the city centre for the first time in Breda so we were looking for a cozy place. In the end we decided to take a sit on the Teras of this restaurant because it looked very nice, people drinking wine and enjoying the weather. So we took a sit and decided to drink some wine as well. Although we ate and where not really hungry, girls decided to eat a pizza and share one for two. When we ordered everything, waiter looked at us and said "only one pizza for 3 people? This is not normal here. Usually people order one pizza per person." To which I said that this pizza is for two and what is the problem about this after all anyway. To be clear people where sitting on tables having just wine as well. He thinked a bit and said well i will get it for you because now is not Rush hour but usully people do not order a pizza for 3 people - "No problem, i will bring it." When he came back and other waiter brought us wines, I asked what exactly did he meant by that, because maybe there were sone rules or something that I did not know about this place, but he said " you know usually is pizza for person and 1 for 3 is kinda meeeehhhh" - he said that and another waiter next to him did kinda the same. We decided to take the pizza with us because it was already cooking and we could not cancel it anyway to which he said " No you eat here." I said no, we want to go from here but of course we are going to pay for everything. Just put it in take away box, we will finish the Wine and go. He was denying my words but eventually said "ok, then take away. I am sorry if I said something incorrect but you know here usually one pizza for table is not normal." - which basically repeated his words from before. Another person already brought us pizza in the box and straight away the PIN Machine for us to pay as well.

I love them so much! I've gotten delivery from them a few times now. Their spaghetti is absolutely amazing, it's a little thicker than usual which is fun and they add a free lil bread with spicy butter with your meal. I also love the pizzas, they're large and delicious. I'm a vegetarian and I usually call to ask them to switch out the meat for some veggies which they've done with love every time. They're super friendly and when it's possible again I'd love to go eat there in person one day! One bit where I'd say there could be room for improvement is that I'd wish they'd add more vegetarian and vegan options to their standard menu, along with some more drinks, so there's a bit more to choose from. For example if you could choose to substitute the meat with vegetarian meatballs or something in some of the dishes, I think it'd already go a long way! Other than that I'm 100% happy with them and their food, I'd totally reccommend to try them out if you're looking for a good pizzeria...

Situated at the mainsquare in downtown Breda this Italian cozy restaurant and it’s big outside terrace . The soup and beef spaghetti were all satisfying but the service , specially from the youngest male staffer was horrible cause when asking to clean my wet table dry and just wiped without looking while focusing on bystanders outside the terrace and after that was more interested in a message he received on his phone instead of asking if I wanted anything else . Clearly he was not interested in guests and probably hated serving outside . The elder staffer with beard was a good host and was service minded . In all Da Attilio was a nice experience to grab an Italian bite...
