Geisha Lounge B.V. — Restaurant in Breda

A friend of mine recommend this place to me and I really trust his taste but I think that maybe he had a completely different team when he was there..

The waitress prompt us to put their app on our phone for the ordering process and when we refused she actually wanted to know why, claiming that if we download it , our service would be faster .. I understand how she can think it's just a naive thing to ask but in this day and age of app permissions and data mining I think it's an extremely rude thing to expect of your clients and also be surprised when they refuse. Geisha lounge, if this is so important for you please supply your clients with tablets to fill their orders in.

Furthermore, the food was ok. Not great but ok. The sushi rolls looked messy and not "tight", too much rice or greens were used in some places instead of the product itself (like a lot of lettuce and a tiny amount of seaweed in a salad that should have been only seaweed) and sometimes old product was used (brown salmon instead of pink) and the ramen soup was a big disappointment.

I believe that it's important to always finish in a positive note so all in all 13 euros for a lunch. The place is smaller and hence also quieter from the other big sushi places. The crispy sushi roll was good and they give more hot options to choose from compare with other similar restaurant. I didn't go...

I should say I am very dissatisfied with what they served us , we joined a lunch menu and the sushi was not fresh at all . their menu is also another challenge to overcome very unorganized and not easy to use , they also did not have a veriety of choice for sushi and everything in general. I would not recommend it to anyone who expect to eat good sushi , it defineity not worth your money nor your time being there service was also very very poor. I really don't know how they got scale of "4" that is...

Gisteren hebben we een bezoek gebracht aan Geisha en we moeten eerlijk zeggen dat onze ervaring behoorlijk teleurstellend was.

Het incident dat onze avond verpestte, vond plaats toen een vriend die na 1.5 uur aansloot voor enkel een drankje. De volledige tijd dat wij onbeperkt mochten eten is 2 uur. We waren verbaasd toen de ober hem vertelde dat hij het volledige bedrag voor het eten moest betalen, ondanks dat hij alleen een drankje nam en anders hij eruit moest. Dit voelde absoluut belachelijk aan en gaf ons het gevoel dat we niet serieus werden genomen als klanten. We zijn volwassen mannen en begrijpen dat hij niet mee mag eten. Maar we waren al klaar met eten en wilde enkel nog een dessert.

Van het geserveerde eten waren we ook niet erg onder de indruk. De gerechten waren middelmatig van smaak en soms zelfs taai.

Over het algemeen was onze ervaring bij Geisha verre van bevredigend. Het belachelijke beleid om een volledig eetbedrag te eisen van iemand die alleen een drankje wilde nuttigen, en de manier waarop we werden behandeld als kleine kinderen, waren echt storend. Het eten zelf was ook niet indrukwekkend genoeg om de algehele ervaring te compenseren.

We hopen dat Geisha hun beleid heroverweegt en klanten op een respectvolle manier behandelt, ongeacht of ze een volledige maaltijd bestellen of niet. Een goede klantenservice en kwalitatief hoogwaardig eten zijn essentieel om klanten tevreden te stellen en terug te laten komen. Helaas kunnen we op basis van onze ervaring Geisha niet aanbevelen...
