For context: we've been visiting curacao for 15 years and are from the NYC area. So we know good food.
With that being said, BKLYN might very well be the best restaurant on the island.
The service was incredible!! Such a small team running this intimate restaurant, and they pour their hearts out. Absolutely lovely level of attention and care from the service team here.
The cocktail menu is wildly creative, diverse and executed perfectly by the talented bartender. Every drink was picture perfect, exquisite tasting. The bartender here is a seriously talented artist.
And then there's the food. Wow. We had about 7 or 8 sharing plates. Everything was so flavorful. Hard to pick a faborite. DO NOT miss the peking duck, it is absolutely the most crunchy and moist duck I've had. I lost my mind on this dish.
Lovely atmosphere in here. Comfortable seating, carefully selected art and lighting. This is a top experience.
This restaurant deserves the praise and should be known as a must stop dining destination both here on Curacao and certainly anywhere else in the world.

Read moreThe best place!!!! Recommend making a reservation in advance. We were there in the off season and it looked like they were fully booked. The menu is ‘small’ plates that you share. Servers are amazing and will guide you through how much to get based on party size. My husband and I ordered 5 plates: The tuna pops (SO GOOD), the gyoza (delicious!), The ravioli (Truffle was amazing!!), the peaking duck (reminded me of Buddakan in NYC), and the ribeye (melts in your mouth). We then got the fried banana bread for dessert which was the perfect end to a perfect meal. They have lots of fun drinks to choose from and when i ordered the same drink twice the bartended kindly asked if he could make me something else so i can experience the menu. I’m glad he did because the drink he made me was the best I have ever had. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I will book a trip back to Curaçao just to go...
Read moreOur experience was disappointing due to the lack of welcoming customer service. When we arrived, no one greeted us, so I approached the bartender to let him know about our reservation. Instead of guiding us to a table, he simply said, “Oh, sit anywhere,” without much acknowledgment.
What stood out most was the difference in how he interacted with other guests—he was warm and friendly with them, but distant and standoffish with us. When I asked for a drink menu, he curtly mentioned it was on the second page, and when I clarified that we planned to have drinks and dessert, he abruptly removed the plates from our table and walked away without another word.
The lack of courtesy and attentiveness made us feel unwelcome, and we ultimately decided to leave without ordering. Unfortunately, the poor customer service overshadowed any potential enjoyment we...
