This is such a quaint place. When we walked in we immediately loved the decor. We did notice it was very hot and humid inside. Didn’t get better until about an hour of us sitting there. They only have a couple of AC wall units and they were not cooling the place enough.

I made a reservation by contacting them on whats app.

The service is amazing, we were warmly greeted. It’s a restaraunt I think owned by a couple, just two people running the whole place. There were little touches like giving you warm lemon water to rinse your hands after the skewers. And they gave complimentary olives when you sit down. The food did take a while since it was just one person cooking! Water is bottled and you pay for it.

We got the soup special which was a fish bisque. The soup was so good, rich but light at the same time, had an umami flavor. And came with some toast and salted butter on the side.

And then we got 8 pieces of shrimp skewer. It’s listed as prawns on the menu but they are really shrimp. They were good! Meaty and had a nice flavor. I liked the sauces that came with it, the tomato dip was very different from anything I’ve tasted before. It came with French fries and they were perfectly crispy. The skewer presentation is great, they hang it in the center of your table!

We got two desserts! The chocolate delight was very good and decadent. Rich chocolate and hazelnut brownie and ice cream. Then we got their special of the day which was avacado ice cream in a tortilla. It was sweet, and creamy and also crunchy with the tortilla. There were some savory dips on the plate, one made out of beets but I didn’t like it. My husband did though.

Whole bill for all that and a beer was $80, so $40 for two people which is pretty good! Appropriate prices for delicious food.

Very nice homey place, feels like you are welcomed to someone’s house. Had...

Wow!! This place is a must for the best dining experience on the island! Such attention to detail and top notch service. We were welcomed in at the door as though we were visiting family! Such a warm welcome. Seated at a beautiful cozy table with a circular bench with lots of cushions, beautiful Moroccan inspired setting in a lovely eclectic dining room with a cozy comfortable vibe. Mia has such a lovely energetic and kind personality and clearly wants to make sure you feel at home and happy with every detail of your dining experience. The menu has many delicious options. My husband ordered the Mustard soup which we all had to try. It was absolutely amazing! Fusion of delicious flavours of mustard and garlic. Great texture as well! The caprese salad was also excellent and fresh. Then we ordered surf and turf. Grilled shrimp and beef tenderloin on skewers. The beef was so tender! Exceptional quality meat cooked to perfection. The prawns we are full of flavour and grilled perfectly. We also enjoyed the accompanied sauces included as well as the fries or potato wedges. I chose a lovely Italian Rose to accompany my meal. For desert a choco delight! Decadent to say the least. I also want to add that the presentation was fabulous of every course. Mia and Ton whole heartedly welcome you and ensure that your dining experience is nothing less than perfect. A...

We had a great experience at this restaurant. I am a vegetarian and wanted to find a place for dinner with more than just soup/salads as my options. I contacted the owner prior to making a reservation and she explained they have a vegetarian option on the menu so we decided to go. The place is in the Pietermaai district of Willemstad and was walking distance to our vacation villa. The decor inside is inviting and intimate. One of the owners greeted us and was an absolute delight to interact with. I appreciate the little Welcome note on our table, such a cute touch. The food was excellent, the vegetarian option was Vegetarian Beef Bourguignon made with jackfruit and it came with mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. My mom opted for the Salmon fillet that came with potatoes gratin and vegetables. Both dishes were so tasty and well made. Absolute perfection! For dessert we tried the Mango and the Choco delights which made for a great end of the meal. You can see that the owners have put their heart and soul into their restaurant so kudos, you have done an amazing job! We loved our experience and we will definitely be back when we visit...
