We ended up eating at Esty’s Brasserie twice during our visit to Curaçao and on both occasions our meal was excellent. The first time we ate there I had started with scallops and then the duck as a main course. Finished that off with the crème brûlée for dessert. Each course was delicious and prepared excellently. After having a late lunch and dining at Esty’s for a second occasion I skipped a starter and had the steak frites with béarnaise sauce which was impeccable. I can’t remember the last time I ate a steak cooked to such perfection (medium rare), each bite was a delight. Ended up sharing their chocolate ice cream, lava cake, mousse dessert to finish off the evening. Started the evening with a martini and a glass of red wine to compile by the steak, both were great as well. Having spent 10 days on the island and eating across a whole assortment of restaurants, there’s a reason we ate at Esty’s Brasserie twice during our stay. In terms of quality, atmosphere, service, and price, there wasn’t anything that beat it for us when it came to reserving a spot for dinner. Highly recommend and look forward to dining again there in the future.

Seeing good reviews, we decided to check it out. We started it off with french onion soup and beef tartare - haven't had one so good in a very long time. I thought I'd need more bread to go along the tartare in a moment when the owner of the restaurant passed by and commented we need more bread and brought it. For the main course we both went with corvina fish, which was prepared to perfection. Also 3 ordered sides (roasted potatoes, broccoli in a mustard sauce, ratatouille). We did order too much. For a dessert we went with Tarte tartin (great but insanely sweet) and profiteroles. The location is right by the main road but it becomes less busy as the night rolls in and the selection of music was great and to a great extent camouflages the road noise. The owner was very active and knows how to work his guests. Unfortunately, you don't see this these days very often but it shows in the great quality of food and service, both of which were amazing for Curacao standards. We would definitely return.

A Hidden Gem on the Island If you’re looking for the best brasserie on the island, look no further. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest smiles and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. The staff here go above and beyond to make you feel at home, balancing professionalism with a friendly, approachable vibe that sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. Now, let’s talk about the food—simply amazing. Each dish was beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and crafted with obvious care and expertise. Whether you’re indulging in a classic brasserie favorite or exploring one of their creative specials, you’re in for a culinary treat that will leave you planning your next visit before the meal is even over. This place is a true gem, and I can’t recommend it enough. The combination of brilliant staff, a cozy ambiance, and top-notch cuisine makes it a must-visit for locals and visitors alike. Bravo to the team! We will surely com back!

Certainly one of the best restaurants in Curacao. The owner knows exactly what he’s doing in terms on quality service, food and atmosphere. We’ve been to Curacao multiple times and always end our stay with a lovely evening at Etsy’s.

Service: Prompt, attentive but not intrusive. Right away, you are greeted by your server who reviews the daily specials and asks for your drink order. If you aren’t quite ready they come back and follow up within 5 mins and are polite and informative. This continues throughout your entire meal and the experience is top notch.

Food: Certainly not the cheapest restaurant on the island but you get what you pay for. Top quality dishes prepared with exquisite attention to detail. We’ve ordered the Petite Brie and the Baguette as appetizers as well and the Coquille St. Jacques (which I can’t eat anymore because I’ve developed a shellfish allergy) all just outstanding.

For mains I have ordered the Tornado (Fillet) steak with Bernaise and it’s fantastic. Cooked exactly how I ordered (Medium rare) and a top quality cut.

My wife has ordered a couple of the other mains and they were great as well. Tonight she had the Halibut (daily special) with the beurre blanc and it was to delicious.

Atmosphere: Super cute and inviting, great french music at just the right level so you can enjoy a conversation and the music. Not over powering and not too faint. The location is fantastic with lots of parking and walkable from many hotels and resorts.

Overall I would say this place sets the barre for what a quality restaurant should be regardless of location/country. The owner clear.y knows how to build a quality business and how to build relationships with both locals...

We arranged a group event for 12 in the private dining room. Upon walking up, first impression is the cozy outdoor seating on a trendy street corner. As we made our way to the private room in the back, we passed formal white tablecloths, an immaculate indoor dining area, and an army of smiling servers. First impressions were that the menu was authentic French with a strong wine and cocktail selection. We opted to start with some high-end rum followed by some bottles of red wine. The house Syrah was shockingly good. Food-wise I thoroughly enjoyed both the Fois Gras and Beef Tartare, though the latter was served on a bone that was a little wobbly and difficult to eat without spilling. From there, my wife and I shared the tenderloin and roast duck with vegetable sides. Both were incredible. I can highly recommend the apple tart dessert, far and away the best the group tasted. Overall, the food, drink, service, and ambience was spectacular — a dining experience well above average for the...
