We came here Fri 3/5 at the recommendation of a server at another restaurant and left quite disappointed, having had probably our worst dinner on the island.

Positives: The two appetizers we had were great – the wings were fresh and hot, the Mexican street dip was delicious. Service was generally friendly and the ambiance felt modern but relaxed.

Negatives: After the appetizers, it was all pretty downhill. The ribeye skewers came dry and overcooked, as did the grilled galbi. Neither had any flavor or seasoning to them, certainly not thai ribeye or a marinated Korean BBQ galbi. We tried to eat most of the skewers hoping the galbi would be better, but only had a small part of the galbi before asking the server to take it away. We mentioned both meat dishes had been overcooked and dry so we weren’t going to eat the rest of it but he seemed to just interpret it as us saying we were full. Didn’t receive any apology, no offer to remove it from the bill, or even a complimentary dessert / drink to make up for it. I ordered a “Skip the Dessert” cocktail at the end hoping to end the meal on a good note, but it came tasting pretty watery rather than any real taste of the ingredients.

Unfortunately we ended up walking away feeling like we wasted our money on a subpar dinner. If there had been any sort of gesture made to make up for the ribeye and galbi, we would have probably given them the benefit of the doubt and recommended them to others, but it put a real damper...

This spot seemed so promising. The menu had a variety of items and we were excited to try the food and drinks. I got the chilaquiles with beef and they were extremely sweet, so much that it was off putting. I barely made a dent in the food. The server asked if i liked my food and I let her know that I did not like my food. She then asked would i like something else and I said a plain croissant. She said are you sure you don’t want to add anything to the croissant, and I said no. The croissant also was not very good (flat, gummy, lukewarm). I get the bill at the end, after all the food was removed from the table, and was charged for both because her manager did not care if I liked my meal. Why ask for me if i want something else if you were going to charge me for my meal anyways?!? Worst experience here and do not recommend this restaurant when there are so many good eating options here in Curaçao. Very...

I went to have lunch yesterday with peers. After everyone but me got their lunch I was informed that what I want to order was not available. Ok so I asked if I order something else will I get it swiftly and the answer was yes. After over 20 min I got my food. When i went to pay and asked for a discount they told me I am not to get a discount. In any case you will not see me at that restaurant again since they do not value the concept of service and neither do they understand that only apologizing for the mistake is not enough. Since feedback is a gift I hope that management does something with...

We stumbled upon this gem for breakfast and we are so happy that we did! We did not have a reservation (recommended that you should), but were welcomed and seated right away! All the staff were amazing, the greeter, our server, Rishayra (Sharry), everyone we had contact with! Our food was INSANE DELICIOUS! I had the chicken club sandwich and he had the honey grilled cheese, and both were equally fantastic! I can’t recommend this place enough, so do yourself a favor and venture outside of the tourist traps and check them out! They will not disappoint!!!!

Downtown has been on my list for a while and it’s definitely one of our new favourites! The drinks were very nice and refreshing. I went with a recommendation of our server and got the steak&eggs benedict from their new menu. My boyfriend had the egg-gasm and we took the Japanese soufflé pancake as an extra to share. One word: AMAZING! But truly, what added to our experience was the great service we got from Alex! Thank you Alex for the energy you brought to the table and your great recommendations. A service you don’t see a lot on the island. We’ll be back!
