To begin with we are frequent visitors to Curacao. After a nice dinner at BijBlauw, my wife and I decided to go down to Mundo Bizzaro for a glass wine before returning to our hotel. We had dined at the restaurant over the years but had found their food to be over priced and mediocre…thus just a glass of wine. For those familiar with the restaurant, we decided to seat in their “lounge” area where there are no tables so I went to bar to order. I was told by “manager” to sit, and he would take our order. We did and he did eventually come. We ordered our wines which were delivered, and I paid since only getting the single glasses. There was a small, low sitting pedestal table with a lamp next to our seats where we could sit our glasses. Unfortunately, because of where the lamp was, we were being blinded as if a flashlight was in our eyes so I flicked off the light. “Manager” comes and turns it back on stating “LIGHT STAYS ON.” Oh well, whatever. After, we finish our wine, we procced to leave. Next thing we know, the “manager” accosts us on the sidewalk outside restaurant where there are numerous dining tables accusing us of stealing a wine glass in front of many patrons. Us, “what are you talking about?”. He escorts inside to where we had been sitting…lo and behold, our two glasses were still there on pedestal where we left them. Mind you, these are plain $1 wineglasses with no monogram. I ask “Why would I want to steal your wine glasses?” No apology comes…just “people do” as he walks off. I guess patrons outside still view my wife and I as thieves. Note we are in our 70s and do not need plain Jane wine glasses....
Read moreI came here around 8pm for dinner. I was quickly seated and received my soda that tasted a little off. I figured I would wait until the server came back to let him know. He didn’t show up until a half hour later when my food arrived. I asked for a fresh soda. He told me I had to drink it first. I exclaimed that it tastes bad, is watered down (after a half hour of waiting for anyone to stop by my table), and I would like a fresh one. This was a problem for the male server. I asked him to pack my food to go. I was going to have a fresh good tasting soda in my room with my meal. 15 minutes later a female server comes over to check me out and brings my now cold food. It’s not her fault, but it doesn’t take 15 minutes to box a cooked meal. I told her I was not happy with the lack of service. I paid and left expeditiously. I go to my room in the boutique hotel next door to eat. I ordered the Beef Tenderloin with red wine sauce. I asked for it to be medium. I received a medium well, extremely fatty and chewy overcooked chunk of meat. There was nothing tender about it. I’m glad I didn’t sit there for that disappointing meal.
Only go here if you enjoy slow service (if any), overpriced and overcooked food with bad attitudes to top it off.
The only reason they deserve any stars is because of their female servers. They were great and tried to do better. Sadly, they get over-ridden by the small male server and his overinflated ego.
I have never given a restaurant 1 star but this place deserved it.

Read moreIf I could give this place zero stars I would I was going to go out for dinner made a reservation online. Had the options to pick from 5 to 1030. I chosen option at 10:15 and as soon as I got there, the bartender was baffled at the point of me walking in, I stated that I had a reservation for 10:15 told me the kitchen was closed but online it said otherwise they need to update their online option and state that kitchen closes at 10 no desserts whatsoever after 10 the bartender had the fattest attitude, uncomfortable ambiance, & dim lighting overall, would not recommend going atmosphere is trash, especially with the attitude/vibe of the workers and 10 minutes later, another couple walks in and also asked for desserts. They were in the same position that I was in and they said oh no kitchen closed when online it says otherwise wasting peoples time for nothing. Decided to take myself to tok tok instead definitely recommend That. It also states online on Google they updated their time options seven weeks ago if the kitchen closes earlier, you shouldn’t allow reservations to happen after 10 and put that on the menu when booking as well. There are plenty of better options...
