Kura Hulanda Village and Spa — Hotel in Curaçao

Theres a few properties, the particular location Im rating is in the otrobanda district in willemsted. I stayed here for different reasons than a vacation...but, what I can say is that the staff were all very helpful. It is well located to shops, restaurants, and the swinging bridge. It's a very unique place (restored) that has old charm but is well maintained. There's also a museum attached that's worth a visit. If you're visiting for Karnaval, the parade route goes just outside the grounds. Worth a watch if your timing of visit occurs during the events. Rooms were just right for the situation. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. They weren't able to find our reservation upon arrival and put us in a small upstairs room. Shortly after getting our things up there they called to let us know they did have another room available and it was spacious and beautiful. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning and had dinner most nights at the hotel. Servings were generous and we were able to spend time talking with Anita, one of the chefs. Terrible. Though I paid for a superior I had to change 3 rooms to get a decent one.first had no light whatsoever 2nd no electricity 3rd no Wi-Fi. Even if i changed room, the Wi-Fi in the room comes and goes, AC though noisy was not working properly, limited pressure of tge water to have a shower. Room with no privacy whatsoever just in front of the pool.Furniture extremely old and the whole room needed either maintenance or to be refreshed.
