Café Old Dutch Curacao — Restaurant in Curaçao

We stopped for a simple meal & a wine. The guy who was taking drinks & orders was busy and after some time we asked him if we could order our meals. His reply & I quote was "Wait your turn!" In his due time he returned and our two burgers were ordered. Not a great start. After over an hour of waiting and watching others who arrived later being served their meals, I asked about our food. He replied that we weren’t next, again in that same arrogant tone. We decided to cut our losses & cancelled our order. He initially demanded we pay for the food that never arrived. That was’nt going to happen so we paid for our drinks only and left as he loudly advised us not to come back. That will be my extreme pleasure I think I replied. Despite not having dinner reservations, the staff was able to find us an outdoor table, even on a fairly busy night. They had a surprisingly extensive menu and, while the Dutch snacks looked good, we both decided to get the weekly special, because it was a full meal. The guy was extremely rude when we went in there, we had just asked if we could see a menu to take a look while he was going to get us our drinks , and he arrogantly said what do ya want, and also said if you're in a hurry you're in the wrong place.
