i came here with my dad. english and dutch speaking staff. blonde waiter super friendly and helpful he deserves a raise. his work is excellent even under stress he can manage just fine with a smile. no english drink menu. english food menu. Brand pilsner beer from 1340 I dont like alcohol AT ALL, not a fan, not a fan of beer. but that beer i love! its so decent and not even so strong but i would not order it, just took some sips. i wish they had long island on the menu. i wish they had wifi without password or password written on the menu. the chicken is amazing, they shouldve gives 2 baked potatoes. the sweet potato fries shouldve came without all that stuff on top, my Dad did not like it at all, they shouldve given a dip to it. some fries have sauce others dont.h My Dad requested to have the espresso brought WITH the dessert, but the request has not been fullfilled. A hidden gem in Delft, our best kept secret. Cafe de V offers high quality, classic dishes in generous portions and no fuss. The service is fast and attentive, and it's always a pleasure to dine outside on their boat terrace.

Every last Sunday of the month they server their famous Sunday roast, the dish of the day changes each time but my favorite so far is the varkensrollade served with roasted vegetables, potatoes and a drizzle of wine jus. The pork was well marinated and the jus was on point, complementing the meat. I'd also recommend their beef steak and prime ribs, their meat dishes never disappoint.

Do save some room for dessert, they make most of them themselves. My favorite so far is the stoogpeer tarte tatin, warm, spiced with cinnamon and other baking spices served with salted caramel ice cream. The creme brulee is also a twist on the classic with some bailey's in it.

Informal restaurant/bar in the city center of Delft. The atmosphere is nice and invites you to come in and to shelter from cold outside. Plenty of space inside and huge bar to seat at. The service is taken by very professional and young people that take care of everything that you can need. Then menu is not very extense but varied enough.
