Flavor and Spice Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Eindhoven

We really liked the place here! The food had a lot of flavor in it. The course meals consisted of an entree with samosas, falafels and a variety of dips, which was very diverse in taste. The main course consisted of many different dishes in bowls on a plate called a ‘mezze’. Most things weren’t too spicy for us, so we liked that. It was very filling and we couldn’t eat all, unfortunately. But they gave us a doggybag for the leftovers, which was an unexpected service we appreciated to lessen waste. The dessert consisted of three different delicacies with varying flavors, showing that people who don’t like certain things could still enjoy something else. But we ate it all, anyways! The service was very customer-friendly. They did things like take our jackets, recommend any drinks we’ve never heard off, asked us how the food was and tended to our needs even without us needing to ask. We even had a little chat with some of the staff members, who were very open and friendly, making jokes here and there with us. We liked the atmosphere. It was very cosy and had a comfortable ambiance to it. The music was not too loud or too soft and also created an atmosphere where people could talk leisurely without feeling as if the music was too loud or that there were too many people. We were very friendly received by the hostess and had a pleasant seating in the front of the establishment. While from the outside the place might look small, the rooms went deep and there were a lot of different areas for different parties, depending on the size of said party. The decor of the place is really cozy and warm, making it an ideal place for enjoying the company of your friends and family. We went here for dinner, and for this aim it might come a bit short. They have two different options for dinner, we chose for Best of Flavor and Spice and the food was really tasty, and it was served in a dainty fashion, in tiny bowls with some rice and naan. It was definitely good food, but personally I wouldn't say I thought it was worth the price. Similarly for the dessert, we went for the priciest but it was quite small. However, while I would probably not go here for dinner again, I want to say that the atmosphere and service was spectacular. I went here with my partner for one of our date-nights. The vibe of this place was immaculate! They had a nice little upstairs area where you could sit on cusions against the wall, instead of a table with chairs! Which really added something nice. Me and my partner went for a table. We ordered vegan Bolani, which by itself was already 5/5. And we ordered Vegan Mezze for 1 person to share between the two of us, which was more than enough for the both of us. Together with 2 drinks each. The boba drink was a little bit too sweet for my liking. (it really was extremely sweet.) And the prices of the drinks were on the more expensive side.
