Stage Music Cafe — Restaurant in Eindhoven

Rough place, selection of drinks is average and the bar seems to be overwhelmed at times with the orders. Corwd is a interesting mixture of hippies, artists and other alternative people - all of them warm and welcoming. The name already revealed the trade secret of the pub: they focus on music with one main event, which is the "open podium" where everyone capable to play an instrument (or not) can hop along and play for a while together with others - pretty sweet. It's a diamond in the rough, and I think the owner could make it the best place down Town if a bit more of the finance would run I to th sanitary solutions, the interior as well as the drink selection. But all in all, a very enjoyable place to stay...

I always believed that quality does not come cheap. I was proven wrong by this place. That’s the first point. I will not go in the details about the staff, the drinks, food, ambience - everything is good. The bonus is that your co-drinkers are also (almost always) the nicest people. I know several people at this place and I generally have a good time with them around. What fascinates me is that at times when I want to be alone, I can do that at this place inspite of standing in the middle of all those known people, this place allows you to be yourself, truly. update: last Friday I was quite disappointed by the music / bands that performed live (i know it's a matter of taste but some rock would have been nice, I really couldn't stand it after arriving around 10:30pm), I guess I may have to do better myself on drums at a next jam session. Sitting on the terrace in front then was quite nice and gezelli but really it is one big pothole of smoke of all kinds, which anno 2025 isn't really what I'd give five...
