We stopped to take a break and eat something here.

I had the soup of the day which was a tomato soup with meatballs and flatbread and the spanakopita. I was very pleased with the soup as it warmed me up and tasted very VERY good. The best tomato soup i had in years. The spanakopita was less impressive. It was very sweet, and for a bakery product made with spinach and feta cheese i found that a bit weird but maybe my expectations were wrong. They also paired it with a garlic mayo sauce which.... is ok but i thought that it didn't really pair very well with the pie.

The service was great, as both the owner and the waitress were very friendly. We spoke with the waitress in english.

The atmosphere was very relaxed, clean and chic. The large windows that grant you a view of the canals and the passersby are very pleasing. The general design and look of the place is also tastefully done and it makes you feel...

Just wonderful for our last night in Groningen. Searched for local Greek restaurant and this gem popped up only a short 10 minutes walk away from our hotel. Was a Sunday evening didn't book but had free tables available. Not a massive menu which I personally think is a good thing. We had the feta cheese in honey to start which came with warm pita breads which all hot starters do I believe this dish tasted delicious. My husband had the moussaka and I had the chicken kebabs both tasted great. All the mains came with side Greek salad with feta and chips for the table to share. Really was great quality filling food so couldn't manage dessert. Overall fantastic food, great price small wine at just 4.50 euros, great staff in a lovely setting overlooking one of the...

The food was mediocre at best, for those prices we expected a whole lot more.

The service was absolutely terrible, it was clear the waiter had a preference on who to serve.

No one should have to try getting their waiter's attention for half an hour. The restaurant wasn't busy, so that definitely wasn't the cause.

The cherry on top would be the smoking inside! As I got out of the toilet to walk back to my seat, I instantly noticed the strong smell of cigarette smoke coming from the bar/kitchen. I checked outside for any people smoking, but no one was smoking at that moment nor would smoke from outside smell this strong this far from the front doors.

Sad, I had high hopes for this place. Definitely not...

I went here to celebrate getting my diploma and I am glad I did it here. I was pleased by the very kind customar friendly service. Not only in attention and detail, because some in my company were vegan, they paid special attention to provide plenty of options to make all vegetarian options also vegan options. Besides that, near the end we haven't finished all of our food and we were able to take the leftover home, carefully placed in a container and bag. Also, the food was very delicious and I could recommend the Mousaka! All in all, a nice gem in the city centre of Groningen providing very tasty greek food and friendliness!

The food is very good, especially the galaktoboureko, which is delicious. However, the prices are pretty high compared to the portions you get. The moussaka wasn't that bad (portion-wise), but if you choose something off the grill, you don't get much meat. The staff is generally very friendly. Reserving a table is recommended. As a group of 8, we were seated at a round table meant for a maximum of 6, which was very cozy but maybe a little too cozy. After notifying the staff, we were moved to a table where 8 people could comfortably sit.
