We visited Pho Saigon for dinner and started with Canh Ga Cha Siew and Cha Gio Ga as appetizers, followed by Com Cha Sieuw Her and Com Cha Sieuw Ga for the main course.
The food was average overall — neither bad nor outstanding, just decent. The flavors were fine, and everything was served quickly, which was a plus. With drinks included, the meal cost about €25 per person, which was reasonable for the portion sizes.
Before visiting, I tried making a reservation by phone, but my first three calls weren’t picked up. Surprisingly, I later received a call back from the restaurant. I asked to make a reservation, but no details were taken from me. When we arrived, several tables were free, so I’m not sure how their reservation process works, or if reservations are even necessary.
The restaurant is easy to reach from the city center, which makes it convenient.
There is both outdoor and indoor seating — the outdoor area is pleasant, while the indoor dining space feels a little compact and can come across as congested when busy.
The washroom, located at the back, is very small and not comfortable to use.
On the positive side, the server was polite, friendly, and attentive, which added to the experience.
Overall, Pho Saigon is a decent spot for a casual meal, but I’d rate it around...
Read moreTried this Vietnamese place recently and it’s super convenient since it’s close to the city center. We ordered the following: Starters: Chay Gio Ga ( spring roll with chicken) and Canh Ga Cha Xiu (grilled chicken wings with honey) Main Course: Com Cha Sieuw Heo (Rice with grilled marinated pork with honey) and Com Cha Sieuw Ga (Rice with grilled marinated chicken with honey) The food was served fast, portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable compared to some of the other places around. Most importantly, everything tasted really good!
However, the inside space is quite small, so it can feel a bit cramped, but sitting outside in summer is actually really nice and comfortable. The bathroom could definitely use some improvement, and I did notice that some dishes seemed to have a slight tinge of added color.
Overall, a tasty and affordable spot if you’re looking for quick Vietnamese food...

I ordered the spring rolls, which were crispy on the outside and filled with fresh vegetables.
