Great place to eat, friendly staff and good service. Being a coeliac and eating out is not always easy but this place was superb and I believe they make a point of offering a good selection of gluten free foods and appear to be known for this. As soon as I asked for gluten free options I was given a gluten free menu (in English) with many options to choose from and very reasonably priced. A personal highlight was also seeing three different dessert options. The lemon meringue was so lovely! They even had gluten free beer. Really liked the quirky duck theme too. Really good food at a typical Dutch restaurant. They have a regular menu and a gluten-free menu and they take measures to prevent gluten cross-contamination in the kitchen. This place is perfect for celiacs like me. On top of that, they are super caring about other food restrictions. Our waiter was extremely nice and tried to find solutions to make my food onion-free, garlic-free and lactose-free. I totally recommend this place to anyone living or passing...

Me and a friend had lunch at The Ugly Duck today. It was very nice and the thing I liked the most is the fact that there were so many gluten free option so my friend didn't have to worry about that. It was cozy and not too busy. I don't know exactly what I would want to see to give it a five, but I'm very keen on coming back and deciding that. But the initial feeling is that it was really nice.
