I must say I was pleasantly surprised with my order here. Overall waiting time was 1 hour with Thuisbezorgd: 35 mins of preparations and 25 mins of delivery. Not bad, I must say, esp looking at how BIG the meal is.
I ordered Loaded chicken mexican deluxe menu (w/ rice). In this time and age where all horeca business do shrinkflation, their ‘rice bowl’ is so big it is enough to feed one person the whole day or 2 people for 2 meals. Taste’s amazing too! With piri rice that also taste great, this menu touch all the right palate buttons.
Their sweet potato fries, although still tasty, I think can have some improvement. It ‘looks’ burnt even though I didn’t taste the burnt-ness at all. Not sure why. And it’s a bit too salty for my taste. But overall still a solid side option which the price reflect its good quantity.
With all things considered, I believe 5-stars is not an over rating. I’ll say to the restaurant to keep the food amount and improve the sweet potato a bit if you guys aren’t running on a paper-thin margin. Read moreI came in to pick up Uber Eats order for a customer. It took me over 10 minutes to get there just to be told that the order will be ready in 20 minutes. Needless to say I left immediately because I'm not getting paid for waiting, especially when they had enough time. Now reading the customers' comments, I know it's best to avoid as customer too.
Pollo Picante and The Burger Company has the same owner, same staff with the same mentality. They seem angry when people call, they seem angry when people order and want their food on time. Now you might want to realize that you are here for the customers, not the other way around. You need their money but they definitely do not need your food if it's fine like this. Carry on and people will go eat elsewhere. I already cancel all orders from both restaurants when I see them. I don't even bother going there because it's always the same story.
