Salmagundi's — Restaurant in Groningen

Honestly, this place became a disappointment. For my birthday, I was confirmed to have a reservation, when I got there they had no idea about it, but they said they could "arrange something" for me. Pretty rude dude. Today, they did the same to my friend. But then, when we wanted to order food, they said it was only possible to order the platters and that we had no option to order other things because that would be the easiest for THEM. We divided each platter among six people. Those are for two. Yet, they charged us 24,50 PER PERSON. We did not eat enough to justify the price. I ate two shrimps and two pieces of chicken. They just didn't care to make them bigger. I repeat IT WAS THE SAME PLATTER FOR TWO PEOPLE, BUT SIX ATE FROM IT AND YET THE PRICE WAS 24,50 PER PERSON. It's a scam. We won't come back there anymore....

It was a very nice restaurant. The food was delicious. The food was different from your usual dinner places. It had a lot of influence from other countries but I centainly recommend to vist this place. The ambience was very relaxed and I would say like you're eating at someones house. Summarizing.. I do recommend this place, but I would not go if you do not like some...
