Vive la Vie is a culinary treasure nestled in the heart of the city, where every meal feels like a celebration of life itself. This enchanting restaurant invites guests into a world of vibrant colors and rich aromas that stimulate the senses from the moment you walk through the door. The décor is a harmonious blend of rustic charm and modern elegance, featuring soft lighting, wooden accents, and art adorned walls that tell stories of culinary journeys from around the globe.

The ambiance at Vive la Vie is intoxicating—soft melodies waft through the air, mingling with the laughter and chatter of delighted diners. The staff greets you with genuine warmth, making you feel like a cherished guest from the very beginning. Their attention to detail and passion for hospitality shines through as they guide you through the menu, which is a delightful tapestry of flavors inspired by French cuisine with a contemporary twist.

To start, the truffle-infused mushroom croquettes are a revelation, offering a crispy exterior that gives way to a creamy, earthy filling, perfectly offset by a tangy aioli. For the main course, the coq au vin is a standout—tender chicken braised in a deep, rich red wine sauce, served alongside buttery mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables that burst with freshness. Each bite transports you to the picturesque landscapes of the French countryside.

No visit to Vive la Vie would be complete without indulging in dessert. The lavender crème brûlée is a sublime creation, the delicate floral notes elevating the traditional custard into a heavenly experience. The caramelized top crackles under the spoon, revealing the silky smooth custard beneath that is simply divine.

The restaurant’s wine selection is equally impressive, featuring an array of fine wines from renowned vineyards, expertly curated to pair with each dish. The knowledgeable sommelier is eager to recommend the perfect glass to enhance your meal, adding another layer of enjoyment to the experience.

In conclusion, Vive la Vie is not just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of life’s flavors, moments, and connections. It’s a place where the joy of dining comes alive, making every visit a cherished memory. Whether it’s a romantic dinner, a gathering with friends, or a special occasion, Vive la Vie promises an unforgettable experience that will have you returning...

I visited on October 24th, and to be honest, I was disappointed with the service. The seven-course menu took nearly four hours in total, which felt quite long. The male server was very kind and had a bright smile, but the other staff members seemed inattentive. The way they placed the dishes and cutlery felt careless, almost as if they weren’t paying attention to the details or simply didn’t want to be there. The table looked a bit messy, and when they cleared the plates, they did it so quickly and abruptly that it made me uncomfortable.

I ordered the All-in package, but no one explained what was included. I only found out later from the restaurant’s website that coffee or tea was supposed to be part of it. Even when the server asked at the end, it seemed like she thought it was an extra charge.

The food itself wasn’t bad, but apart from the main dish, nothing really stood out — it just didn’t feel special for the price range. If the service had been a bit more attentive, I would have left feeling...

Really, really good food. We went for the seven course dinner, and with the 2 rounds of amuses before, and the coffee with cookies afterwards we were there for five hours! It did cost an eye-watering 140 euros per person (including a drink for every course and bottles of water) but it was totally worth it.

Staff was all extremely friendly and knowledgable. The only downside was the long wait before the first dessert course, but hardly worth mentioning.

The lounge in the back was really cozy and quiet, although sometimes there was a lot of clanging and banging from the dishes being washed right next to the lounge. Keeping the door closed...

The average rating of this cosy and welcome place brought us here with my friend. There are not so many places as Viva La Vie in the near and, I guess, in the region... The evening at bistro was calm and strong like a serious chill out song, the 7 courses menu takes you to a journey with little tastes of different cousine and hypnotise you to expect for a next dish right from the first bite. All wines are nicely combined to a dish with a personal signature of the bistro team. The calm and responsible service of Carine makes the journey a great experience, keep on rocking, you have great potential, thank you!

The most extended diner I've had in a while. The food is amazing! Five courses with five great wines. The price may seem a bit high at the first glance, but it's a great value for money. The staff is amazing and helps you get the premium feeling. I.e.: taking your coat when you arrive or holding the door when you leave. The knowledge of the staff really endoured the meal. They give you great explanations about the wine and how it matches your meal. The meal is described into detail when served and looks amazing. Big kudos to the chef and the servers!

Food was very nice and the service super friendly. Wines well associated to each of our seven courses. The cheese board let us discover some amazing local products. I fully recommend it. For 5 stars however, they should take more risks in the kitchen: mix the flavors a little bit more and work on different textures (every piece of our meals was tasty, but on its own, and little surprising). Cooks not wearing protective masks (covid) and some members of the staff wearing them just under the nose were big a minus.
