Locale piacevole e tranquillo nel centro di Haarlem, menù contenuto ma le pietanze sono ben cucinate e servite. Ideale per chi è celiaco: molte portate possono essere preparate anche in versione senza glutine. Consiglio comunque di consultarsi con lo staff prima di ordinare. Non ho però visto nella lista una birra senza glutine: peccato!

Pleasant and quiet lunchroom in the center of Haarlem, close to the main shopping streets. The menu is not big but all meals are well cooked and served, the servings are OK. It's ideal for celiacs (people suffering from celiac disease): in fact, many courses can be prepared in a gluten-free version. The food was good but the service TERRIBLE. We were there with 4 people and immediately after we arrived the lady serving our table came with a sour expression on her face looking almost bothered by our presence. We ordered drinks of which she forgot to bring the half and when asked if she could still bring it, she was not happy with it. The food service wasn't any better. I ordered a salad with the dressing on the side and guess what, the salad had the dressing in it. After we finished eating, we wanted another round of drinks but the lady kept ignoring us (and other customers) for over 30 minutes! Eventually we did not order anymore and decided it leave. Atmosphere obviously nice in the hustling center of Haarlem. Unfortunately, the wait staff have not been trained, have no idea where tables are positioned & ignore you when you try to get some attention (ordering/paying). Super disappointed with the eggs florentine (without salmon) came out with salmon on it, after informing the staff, they took it away and were back within 2 minutes with the florentine without salmon, which had aromas of fish smell still on it - had to swap dishes with my partner as the food took so long to come out it just wasn’t worth the hassle to wait for it to be properly made again as ordered.
