Bread is expensive for what it is, on attached picture you can see effects of bad sourdough mix, bubbling more than it should. It is so basic you would expect bakery to know how to make good bread. There was also a promo running with 5 kokosbollen for 5€, which I didn't see. Salesperson did not even mention this when I ordered 4, so I ended up paying 8€ for 4pcs instead of 5 for 5. Read moreWhenever I visit my best friend in Haarlem, stopping by Oscars is a non-negotiable. I always grab us flat whites there. They’re consistently smooth, well-balanced, and just really well made. Their pastries are also soooo good! Fresh, flaky, and clearly not just an afterthought like at some other places. The vibe is warm and welcoming, and the staff are genuinely friendly (not in that fake smile way).
