We ate here today for dinner. It was a spontaneous decision. Overall, it was okay and we were both satisfied. But that's all I have to say, nothing more, nothing less. Food and Drinks: We both ordered small water, veggie miso ramen with Soba noodles and we shared edamame. The water was good. The edamame were great to be honest, great flavor, great texture, very delicious! The ramen... Well... Let's start: First they told us that the soba noodles were not available. That kinda disappointed me, because the soba was the reason I chose the Ramen. But they offered us to choose between ramen noodles and rice noodles, so we ordered the rice one, and it was okay. Also, I ordered mine with extra spinach, but they also didn't have that in stock so he told me he'll put some more veggies on mine. But both of our ramen had the same amount of veggies. The flavor was okay though, nothing special like I'm used to from my hometown (Takumi in Munich - Check it out! ;)) or from Japan, but it was indeed not bad. Nice miso flavor, and not too salty. Veggies were also okay, the egg was perfectly boiled, not to short but also not to long. I personally liked the tofu a lot, my mother didn't, so I ate it. Portions were alright, but you definitely can order some sides. Ambience: Small but nice. Typical ramen bar, like in Japan. It was clean. But the music was a little bit too loud for our liking. Service: That was the best part (beneath the edamame) - the whole staff was very friendly, tried to solve every problem in our order to our best and they really had their eyes on all the costumers. In a good way! Of course ;) The service is definitely 5*. Prices: Prices okay. Little bit on the expensive side for what it really is but not so high that you should avoid it. To put it in a nutshell: A small, clean and really friendly ramen bar to go with a friend or the family when you want to have some fast dinner. Not a place to sit for a few hours and enjoy yourselves. I also recommend it for families with children! They serve extra small dishes for children and the provide extra chairs...
Read moreI’m always a little skeptical to go and eat some Ramen, because I always worry that it’s going to be too heavy for my stomach but since my friend and I craved some Ramen, we went to Ramen Brothers Noodle Bar and me and my stomach (and my friend lol), don’t regret our choice at all!!
I had the Veggie Miso Ramen and it was so delicious!! The broth wasn’t too heavy, I really liked the tofu that soaked up the broth but the star of the show were definitely the noodles! I’m still dreaming of them like the best and freshest Noodles I had in Ramen so far! Like are they homemade? Because they definitely tasted that way! Perfect consistency!
We chose the seats outside and it was very comfy. Plus the staff was so sweet and kind too like overall a really nice experience! I also think the prices are fair like if we look at our economy. You get a big bowl and I was very full after it!
What I also loved was that there was even an instructions on how to eat the Ramen! As someone with anxiety and someone who doesn’t always know how to eat some dishes the authentic way, I do appreciate details like that a lot!
At the end, after we paid we even got a little sweet treat candy! That’s so sweet, thank you very much!
The restroom is very clean too like the rest of the place so definitely check it out if you’re craving...
Read moreFinally Haarlem has it's ramen place 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Went there with a mixed group of 6. Arrived when it's not yet busy, at 5pm. Place packed in few mins later. The order process went smoothly. The side dishes came in reasonably timing. Taste very good, perfect hot temperatures. We had: edamame, karage, gyoza chicken, shrimps and takoyaki. The ramen came bit later than I would have expected. The temperature of the soup was unfortunately not as hot as I would like my ramen to have. Taste good though. I had tonkatsu ramen. The portions are in line with the prices. If I am the owner, I shall consider to change the bowl size. In many ramen places I'd been, they serve ramen in big bowl so there will be enough soup, we can easily stir it and mix. This one, the bowl is bit too small to do that. And agree to my son's opinion that the soup was bit too little. Parking: street parking is not advisable. We parked at Haarlem NS parking garage, €3/hour. Walk down to the restaurant...
