Restaurant - Pizzeria I Fratelli — Restaurant in Haarlem

What we thought was going to be a pleasant meal turned into such a bad time that we preferred to go home. We arrived very beautiful to celebrate with my wife that I am finally running again. We ordered drinks, our appetizers and our main plates, BECAUSE WE WERE VERY HUNGRY and it was just us and a couple, after 10 minutes the place was full, which we were very happy to bring them luck (it happens that when you enter a place, you bring luck and more starters or clients come.) The young waiter was very good brought us our drinks and the starters (grilled vegetables and garlic mushrooms) all good and pleasant (it just lacked salt, but it was very pleasant).... Passed 30 mints we thought that our lunches would be soon and nothing. The other people already had their pizzas, their calzenes, their drinks and dishes. And us?, who were there before, nothing at all. The young man walked by and saw our drinks and empty plates and nothing. 40 minutes passed and STILL NOTHING... We just returned to ask for 1 glass of coke zero and my wife her glass of wine and finally the waiter took the plates, we asked for our LUNCHES ?? Well, it was already more than 40 minutes. He answered, yes, right away. Honestly, I was getting angry, my wife was very sad because we really wanted to celebrate that i already feel better in health. Another of the assistants passed by and we told him "our orders??? -OK, in a while. The manager showed up, asking for 2 more minutes of tolerance. We waited 5 minutes and nothing, and I was already tired , and really wanted to leave from the restaurant because it is not a free service, IT IS PAID. My wife went directly to PAY for what was consumed and he just brought me a risotto, which I honestly DID NOT WANT TO SIT FOR ONE MORE SECOND IN THAT RESTAURANT, which I was very angry. My wife decided it would be better to have the food to go. They don't have the sense to say: "Ladies, with all due respect, we apologize for giving you a bad time, we were confused, we are very sorry for the delay in your orders" (I don't know, I imagine some excuse). And even more we paid 77 euros for the consumption of the appetizers and the drinks, for a plate of risotto without salt, and a salmon with vegetables ( all honesty was very good). I hate eating angry and even it was supposed to be a nice moment with my wife, we had nice expectations because every time i ran through Haarlem, i passed by...

So let's review this pizzeria. 1 to 5 stars.

Clean: 2 stars.... everything is clean, but the glass cups and wine cups aren't.

Service: 5 stars... extremely great, especially since there was only 1 waitress for the whole place.

Food: Pasta carbonara 5 stars. Pizza Margarita 3 stars... Pizza was ok but not that great the pasta was amazing.

Food tempo: 4 stars.... I think it should be a 5 but I will still give it a 4 stars. The thing is that the place was super busy this makes obviously the time it takes to prep your food longer

Wine: 4.5 stars....had the house moscato great price and great quality sadly it wasn't cold as it should be but that's a Dutch thing..to drink warm wine and beer.

SO ALL AROUND I would definitely go eat here again 🤙🏻 Total...

We ordered 2 Vitello Tonatto as a starter, both of them came with frozen meat. As we told the waitress she went back to the kitchen and brought us some bread with oliveoil without and explanation. The main dish (pizza diavolo and penne) have actually been okay. As we asked for the bill we have been very suprised: it listed both of the vitello tonato AND the bread with olive oil (which we didnt order and thought is a way to say sorry for the frozen meat).This is my first negative revieuw i ever gave, but sorry something like this never happend to me before. Actually i would like to give Zero Stars. Poor way to...
