Heineken Bar — Restaurant in Haarlemmermeer

Airport bar with bar menu. Limited seating and can be a few minutes to order. I arrived at noon and was able to find a comfy cafe style table which suited my needs.

Staff were kind and professional in spite of the high demands of a stag party, party of 6, as well as a steady rush of orders.

The atmosphere was "Pub 🍻"- in a good way! The design, layout, and especially the large panels of different colors fading in and out (mostly Heineken-green)left me impressed with the detail by: Providing a cool backdrop+partial ceiling/canopy- distinctive and attractive in contrast to the other food and beverage restaurants throughout the terminals in Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam, NL. A clever way to brand "Heineken" in the best location with the most modern physical design clearly visible to every person passing.

I had a Burger at a fair price and it was cooked medium. *The kitchen cooks all the burgers to the same medium done level. You cannot get a tartare burger here, lol.

Portions/size (burger&fries) were then reasonable as was the price. I would come back & probably will on my next layover from KLM/Delta. I recommend this for every type of traveler without kids and who just needs a filling meal or local drink.

My sister and I had a connecting flight from Accra to JFK. We sat at table and waited for someone to take our order. A group of white people sat at a table next to ours 10 minutes after we had been waiting. She took their order. After another 10 minutes she asked us if we were going to order and if not that we could sit in the other chairs. She basically assumed that we were not going to order. Always look forward to a Satay and an Afligem beer at Heineken Paleis. Today very bussy and waited outside almost 20 minutes to be seated. Ordered my favorite but waitress said they ran out of Satay as wel as 4 other items on the menu. Only left was a burger (for which Mc Donalds would have been a far cheaper alternative but less tasty!). When paying the bill the waitress referred me to the boss in the kitchen. He mentioned that it has been extremely bussy but same as many days before so not really an excuse. What really annoyed me was that the full menu was still posted outside when leaving 1 hour later.
