Cafe Rembrandt — Restaurant in Haarlemmermeer

Just got off my flight from Hannover to Amsterdam. Not a long flight, but I hadn’t eaten since breakfast so was ravenous. Fancied a beer also. So I went here, over the Hello Good Bye Bar. One hundred percent regret my decision. Was standing waiting whilst local after local was served before me. The place wasn’t busy, and I was standing at the bar waiting patiently. After I had stood there for twenty minutes or so without even being acknowledged let alone greeted, I walked out and went to the Hello Goodbye Bar. What a difference. An expensive bar with pleasant staff and located just in the corner of the covered Schipol airport terminal, near the train station. The bar has an outside seating area too. Beers are expensive at 9euro a pint. The food I had was very poor. I ordered a burger, which came with only crisps (chips) and no fries. On my first bite, the overly fatty burger shot hot fat through the bun and onto my hands! The meat patty was far to fatty for my liking, I wouldn't expect that much liquid fat in a burger. Overall, a disappointing experience. Whilst the bar may be good, look elsewhere for food. (Burger King is nearby, has cheaper meals that also include chips...
