Mr. Smash — Restaurant in Haarlemmermeer

Me and my friend went here to eat before we went to the cinema.

Food came out pretty fast and the gentleman were all so nice. I ordered the truffle burger (which looks exactly like the pictures on their website) and my friend had the double Mexican burger. We also had mozzarella sticks, fries and chicken tenders. I can honestly say I’ve never had a better burger in my life. This tasted soo good and we’re definitely coming back here. I’m just really sad that I forgot to take pictures of the food because I was soo excited to taste it.

The service was also amazing. As I said previously it was very nice and welcoming. They didn’t come too fast to take our order which gave us enough time to decide, but they also didn’t take ages to get to us. It was perfect.

The atmosphere intrigued me from the beginning and inside it was a nice temperature, very pretty interior and a great choice of music.

I'll be honest, I was very surprised at how good their burgers were and trust me, I have an intimate relationship with burgers. If you like barbecue grilled smashed style burgers definitely try this place out! I had the bacon burger and it was perfect. We also had the chicken wings and they were perfect too. Crispy with just the right seasoning. The fries were a bit soggy when we got home, but I'm sure if we had eaten it there they would have been perfect as well. It's strange because it's rare that a restaurant ticks all the boxes but this place did it. It's a relatively new place so I think it's still quite unknown but give this place a try and you'll be amazed. Definitely better than the other local burger joints and yes, I've tried them all.

P.S. Please put the fries in an open paper bag next time. In a closed box they will get soggy. Keep up with the great food, we're definitely...

I ordered the truffle burger, bacon fries, and chicken tenders for takeaway. Im not local, just layover for one day. For some reason, the payment wouldn't go through on my international card. By this time, the whole order was ready, and after numerous attempts, the owner decided to give the meal to me on the house. This is a very generous gesture and totally unnecessary, for he could have just cancelled the order. I was lucky enough to find some euros in my flight bag, so was able to settle the bill later that night.
