Viet n Tea — Restaurant in Haarlemmermeer

I am writing this review to inform everyone that the iced Vietnamese coffee is legit, strong and delicious; the way most authentic Vietnamese iced coffees are or should be. If you do not like the taste of strong black coffee from robusta beans then I suggest you do not order this or ask for more condensed milk and ice to water it down to your liking. That said, be aware if you are sensitive to caffeine this might not be the drink for you. I am such a person so I order this takeaway and don't actually drink it until the next morning, early:) So happy that I can even find this drink here in NL, in a mall..in Hoofddorp, very rare and special place. Keep up the great work! P.S my 2 year old loves the tofu fresh rice paper roles:) See you guys again in a couple of weeks when I need my Vietnamese...

I’ve recently placed an order via Thuisbezorgd. I got the Banh Mi chicken, the beef salad, and a brown sugar bubble tea. Regarding the service, it was great! there was a little mistake made on my end and they called me to clarify some things about my order which was very nice :) we resolved things, and they even offered to make my boba tea without ice so that it wouldn’t go watery. Furthermore, the food itself was great too. My boyfriend loved the banh mi, and I loved the salad. The only downside was that the tapioca pearls in my drink weren’t boiled long enough. They weren’t chewy, more so sort of hard and flourily; which isn’t something you’d want for almost 7€ a drink :( The upside is that that does mean that their tapioca is not bought...

I work nearby so I had a lunch here yesterday.

The food is good but the Vietnamese coffee made me sick. I never feel scared like this. I felt difficult to breathe, my heart raises very quick, and my both arms were numbing for almost an hour.

Later on I learned this may call coffee shock or coffee poison. As a person normally drink 2-3 cups of coffee per day, I would say this is not normal.

My partner is Vietnamese and I had tried many Vietnamese coffee in different restaurants.

The coffee here is way too thick, I add some water after I get back office. But totally not helpful.
