The food looked pretty incredible, really would’ve liked to spend our money. Unfortunately, not only did they not take payment through the Starbucks app (there was zero indication that this was the case anywhere while we stood in line for 10+ minutes), but the woman serving us was perhaps the rudest customer service agent I’ve experienced in a Starbucks. We received an efficient two eye rolls and heavy sigh in our 20-25 second encounter, and were essentially yelled at for attempting to pay with an app that… you know… is for the company that we’re attempting to spend our money at. So… that was disappointing. The fact they had multiple options for different dietary restrictions, a beautiful looking baked goods section, tons of seating… undid by a grumpy and/or rude employee. Several employes just wandering around like they couldn’t care less eventhough the que were long, checking their mobile phones, a lot of private talk and insaaaane slow. Just wanted a toastie and a chocolate chip cookie. Asked if I wanted the light or Dark cookie. Answered the Dark a got the light. Shouldnt be that complicated to get two things right when working in such a slow pace…. Looked like the most boring job in the world…. And I have no idea why two of the employees sat in the eating area.. maybe a meeting? Would have made sense to stay in the back since customers could have avoided the shouting !!! back and forth to/with Blessing in the register. Not choosing Starbucks in that...
Read moreThe barristas are so rude. Ordered two coffees and received one while the other was left standing next to the machine and they just proceeded to help other customers. When I finally received the second coffee, we had to ask for one of the cardboard protectors. Because the barrista didn't want to put it on the second coffee, but did for the first, I was a bit stunned and just put it on myself. Then I pit the cup back on the counter to pick up my bags and go and another customer tried to take the coffee. The barrista said nothing and I had to stop the other customer before she took it. When I complained to the manager, the barrista claimed I didn't smile enough!
