Should have known it’s a bad sign when there was nobody eating there when we came in at late lunch hour. All the food that contained raw fish was just horrible. As a Chinese who’ve been eating sushi buffet for quite some years, this is probably the worst sushi I’ve ever had. The salmon sushi (sake) was purely tasteless - no taste of the salmon. You could tell it was just not fresh and just thawed from frozen. Moreover, it was also my first time to have tuna sushi where the tuna is canned tuna. Unbelievable! All the other sushi just tasted so blend and not fresh, whereas the chef just puts tons of mayo/teriyaki sauce to “spice it up”. The sashimi salad was horrible - tasteless fish with extremely creamy sauce - what is that? Seriously. If I have to say anything good, the grilled items were on the better side. The grilled salmon is okay and the thinned sliced beef. The pan fried vegetables are also okay. So if you are really hungry and you do not have a choice, you can try the pan fried ones. Just do not go for the raw sushi. The spring roll is probably also the smallest I’ve ever saw. I am Asian myself and I want to support Asian business but I just cannot do it for this restaurant. Btw, it was pretty hot when we visited and they refused to serve water and we had to order water, which just makes the bill higher, since one small bottle is roughly 2 euro. Basically they prefer you to get a heat stroke than offering you tap water, in addition to their already salty food. The price is also not that cheap - 23 euro per person for lunch and it’s not worth it. Maybe try the Shabu Shabu just a couple of hundred meters away - sushi there is a bit better, not a lot though. Leiden needs to get its s**t together in terms of its Asian food.

Veryyyyy nice restaurant ! The meal taste is perfect. You can see the picture it s very beautiful inside the restaurant. You have a paper with 5 rounds. In each rounds you can choose 5 things per person s after 2 rounds you are full. When you arrived after 8.45 pm the service take more time than full time so i advice you to go between 6.30 and 7.30. You have enough place because you can find two floors. About the working people they are nice. I didn t put 5 stars because if you want meet it s the same sweet salsa so if you don t like the salsa you canot eat ...

Great sushi restaurant in Leiden. It’s very close to the central station, so a nice location. The food was also really good, and they have a system where you can choose up to 5 bites for 5 rounds (in total 25 bites). We were full already during the third round, so you don’t need to worry about that. Big restaurant with a nice Asian touch. You do not need to book a table if you’re going for lunch (not even during a Saturday), there was only one other company there. They do not have tap water, so you need to buy water, which was a shame.

We will never go back there. I was there with my boyfriend for lunch, after booking by phone. Until that, everything okay. When we arrived, a waiter that seemed to be leading the shift gave us a table and he explained us the menu. As soon as we made one question about it, he already was annoyed. Good start. Really important is that when we arrived the restaurant was almost completely empty, no rush at all.. We made our first order and first they gave us the beers. And they putted it in our glasses like if it was pig meal or similar. They totally filled the glass with the beer foam, and they made it every time that we ordered a new beer and also when the beer in the bottle was almost finished, the waitress emptied the bottle in the glass with the same horrible method, without even ask. The service in general was the worst I've ever seen. Apart from one nice girl that unfortunately was not our waitress, we didn't see one smile from the girl that was serving our table. Not one. Even when we were speaking to her asking for something, we were nice and smiling and she was acting like if for her was really a burden to take care of our meal. The resulting feeling on our dinner of course wasn't exciting.. The food.. Actually in the beginning you can think the food looks really nice and good, and the menu has a good number of different choices. BUT! After the first round, you can clearly understand that all the sushi is filled with superfat and oily sauces or overfried pieces of... I don't know what.. , not even showed on the menu, that just exist for making you full fast. And this stuff is covering all the taste of what you are eating. At the end of the meal, like if all this wasn't enough, the waitress started to clean the table with us there, chatting in dutch (we were talking all the time in English, so not even the basic education) with another colleague and almost throwing food on me, that I was sitting on my place looking at them trying to understand if it was a joke. All this, with the restaurant having just four tables occupied including our, so totally unnecessary.

I strongly recommend that you choose a better place for your Japanese all you can eat. I ate in many places, but this was really bad. We will not go back there even if will be on...

I had two meals in two days at Yuniku. First night was not bad except we had to pay in cash (They accept the hollandish debit card also, but they don't accept the credit card.)

Second day, which was today afternoon, I visited again, but this time, the waitress who had glasses with highlightened hair, was nothing but rude.

First, she ran and stopped me trying to get Ice cream, and shouted impoltly, "Ice is not included" in high pitch. She could have said, Sorry this is only for the dinner or whatever. (I tried to get the dessert only because I had one last night.) Or they could have gotten rid of the ice cream, if it is not for the lunch customer.

Second, she forgot to serve two slices of sushi I had ordered. I asked her about it, but the answer was not sorry but her weird facial expression with "so you need two more sushi?". It was like I was lying to her or something. I don't know chinese facial expression so much, but it was clearly annoying gesture. After then she seved the two pieces of sushi, which were not sushi but rice and two pieces of fried tofu, which were exactly different from the previous round. As if she serves for me the extra sushi.

I'm writing because of the problem I had. I even felt discriminated, because she was so nice to...
