Café Forum — Restaurant in Maastricht

I really love this place so much! I always come to Jazz night. But today 29/08 at 21:30 the waitress that was on the terrace (a girl with wavy hair tied back) was incredibly rude. We were a group of 5 people and were already sitting down waiting to order our drinks and very rudely she came and told us that the terrace was closed for drinks, we told her that if we could order inside and sit down and she said that it was not possible, however we asked other waiters and they said that the terrace was not closed and that we could sit down, during the service we enjoyed our drinks and the jazz music. However we observed how the waitress who rejected us at first was serving drinks to other groups that had just arrived and did not tell them that the "terrace was closed". Horrible service and no customer care. I wanted a green salad. And being allergic to feta, I proposed only green salad with anything on top of it: tunafish can, egg.... I was told the price was going to be different.. No problem I said And then the guy told me that it was going to be too much trouble for the kitchen. to add to a salad something else that was not feta. I got served a bowl side dish with a small gree salad. It was the most pathetic salad ever and really expensive for what it was. Apparently was too difficult just to throw in a piece of anything. On holiday and was visiting Maastricht and we found the Cafe Forum and it was the best decision we made.

The staff were really welcoming and friendly which was great when we only knew a little Dutch to say we were English.

The food was absolutely awesome and cooked fresh and the Chicken Wings were the best I have eaten in a long whille.

My wife had the flat bread Tuna and that was absolutely amazing too and would highly recommend.
