Café De Pieter — Restaurant in Maastricht

This place is beautiful, set against a lovely old stone wall with a charming atmosphere. It’s the kind of spot you want to linger in.

Unfortunately, the owner/lady's attitude makes that difficult. We were planing on eating here but she seemed annoyed by our presence, and gave off a strong “you’re not welcome” feeling.

A real shame, the location deserves better...

The unpleasantness of the « cook » is only matched by the terrible service.

The « cook » told us we could sit outside when we arrived then nobody came to ask for our orders in the following 15 minutes. So I went back in to ask politely if we could order, and the « cook » told me to piss off.

Had the best coffie in the whole town, it was reasonably priced and it's super cozy inside. They play all the good music, mainly Rock'n'Roll, Rock, Pop, Alternative, Psychedelic Rock from the 60-70s, maybe also some Rock Classics from the 80s. Great belgian...
