Some of the best Beef Burgundy I've had in years! Wife enjoyed her generous serving of chicken and mushrooms over noodles. Both of us were impressed with the Cabernet Sauvignon from Argentina, best we've had from that area!
Atmosphere of Red Parrot is the nicest, most upscale of all the restaurants Divi offers. Waterfront white linen tables, very comfy red chairs and excellent professional service from our waiter, Ricky! Menu lists nine entrees, and several appetizers such as escargot and French onion soup. Note: menu is fixed, but does change periodically. For dessert, we opted for the Crepes Suzette with vanilla ice cream on the side.
(Note for parents: we saw a few small children, but this is an upscale restaurant with nothing on the menu for kids... unless they are accustomed to eating beef burgundy. I suppose you could persuade kids to try the breaded chicken and mushrooms dish, which, with a little imagination, could be "sold" to kids as a kind of chicken fingers? Maybe, maybe not, depending on how picky your kids are. If I were you, I'd feed them elsewhere before coming here.)
Back home on Cape Cod, this would easily be a $100+ meal with the bottle of wine, but here, it's part of the all-inclusive experience, so it was "free"! We were so impressed with RedParrot, that we are going back for dinner our last night here! (And I'm having that great Beef Burgundy again!) Thank you, Divi, for such a...
Read moreWe stayed at the Divi All Inclusive and had dinner at the Red Parrot for our last night. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely but there was one thing that stood out- our waiter Yaldo. He went above and beyond to make our dinner memorable. He never let our drinks get even half empty and laughed and cheersed with us every time he refilled. He even brought the chef out to chat with me as I have a terrible dairy allergy and he made my meal safe and catered just to me which was incredible. Cant say enough about Yaldo and the crew at Red Parrot- 5/5 would...
Read morePart of the All Inclusive package this establishment is far than flavorful. Lucky you have the All U can Eat just next door. The simplest of the menu cobb salad falls short of avacado or any pleasure of dressing. All you get is cold wet lettuce. Wet egg and soggy Bacon. That impression made me not order anything else beyond. Other members order the meat that fell short of cooked and the ravioli had more vegetables than pasta the soup could have used lobster or just call it shrimp soup. Coffee tart. The apple strudel was by the high light of...
