Costa Linda Beach Resort — Hotel in Oranjestad (city)

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in Aruba and stayed at the Costa Linda. It was an incredible experience! The resort is pristine. We loved walking through the lush pool area right onto the beach from our room. The room was so clean and made up daily. We had a beautiful view of the pool area and ocean from our balcony, which was marvelous to enjoy a morning cup of coffee on. The people at the Costa Linda, though, are what made it so special. The entire staff was so helpful and friendly and so were the timeshare owners-- many of whom knew the staff personally and knew each other from years of staying there. We were only there 5 days but we made so many friends during our stay! One of the best things was the use of the facility's showers outside of our room. We had a late afternoon flight on Friday so we were still able to enjoy the day on the island after we checked out and could shower before our flight. The resort is in the low rise section of the island on Eagle Beach which we preferred because it was the best beach on the island and far less crowded than the high rise. It was a lovely retreat from the buzz in the high rise section and the city bus stop was just a few feet away so it made travel to the high rise section easy. We have stayed at Costa Linda every year for 5 years straight. Eagle beach is phenomenal and the accommodations have only improved over the years. That being said, every year we have a problem with the security guard Alfred. This is supposed to be a family resort, and the amount of harresment you get from this man is not acceptable. I've complained every year about him, and the experience has not changed. Just today, we went to visit Eagle Beach and eat at Water's Edge, as we decided to try a stay at Playa Linda. While trying to walk through with my 7 year old, I was chased off the property by Alfred. Even though we told him we were eating at the resturaunt. We had to walk around the entire resort, onto the main road, just to get to my car parked in their lot. Furthermore, when I went in to speak with management, they could care less. Extremely disappointed with this place. Many will say this is petty, but I will never bring my family back to this resort. We've spent so much money here only to be treated like garbage. I hope they can remove this bad actor so the experience can...

The costa Linda is the perfect stay in Aruba when you’re looking for good service, family fun, a great beach, and tons of activities. The service at costa Linda from the bartenders to the servers is phenomenal. We had a great time with Leanne who continued to check in on us, showed us a fun time, and was quick and thoughtful with her service. We adored her. When Berny was running the bar we were guaranteed a fun night. Berny made us customized drinks based on 3 words and all of them were delicious. He gave us great service and such a fun time. Finally the activities were an absolute blast. Every morning we looked forward to pool aerobics with Joanne. It was hard, fun and a good workout! We looked forward to it every morning! Along with Joanne, miss sandra kept the kids busy and got the adults involved in activities as well! Sandra is a staple of the costa Linda! She has so many fun activities and you can really see the passion she has for this job which makes each activity even more enjoyable! I will never stay anywhere but the costa Linda because it truly feels...
