I really wanted to like this place since the reviews were great and the sushi turned out to be quite good but the timeliness and service was atrocious. We made a reservation and arrived at 7:30pm but the restaurant was too cold so we asked to sit outside. Very accommodating, no issues so far. However, once we ordered a round of drinks, water for the table, two platters of sushi and a bowl of ramen, everything went downhill. Our server was never to be seen again, the water never arrived, and the sushi took one hour and 15 minutes to arrive. Nobody ever returned to the table to see if we wanted more drinks, tell us the food was delayed, or simply check in. Furthermore, the soup which was supposed to come at the same time, turned out to be instant ramen and arrived another 10 minutes after the sushi. My husband, mother and I loved this place so much we went twice in one week! I would have personally loved to go more but my husband insisted we try other restaurants too. I have been to many different sushi places in Europe and the Caribbean and this is definitely one of my favourite ever. It was SO delicious, the fish was so fresh, the rolls were so creative and different with a few classics, and there were great non-sushi dishes for my mother who isn’t the biggest fan (though she tried stealing some of my alto vista roll because it looked too good).
