Good branding but good cocktails are somewhere else. I personally do not understand the super positive reviews provided by some people. I have been here for a some drinks on a Friday evening. The location is nice - good vibes - and lot of people were there. We took a sit at the bar, few centimeters from the bartenders. At first I was impressed by the nice bottles exposed on the shelves - "we are in a serious cocktail bar". My disappointment arrived when I noticed the bartenders use just few, mediocre quality, bottles they have at the bar and not visible to customers - a completely different level from the ones displayed. My margarita was quite distant from being well-prepared and presented (too much salt all over the glass, flavor not balanced - and note I personally do not like the IBA recipe as well and prefer some variations. I exclude the glass type - not the Margarita one - as this might be due style choices of the venue). To be fair, other cocktails I have seen were presented very nicely, using flowers decorations. Went for drinks with some friends to celebrate a birthday in the group. We sat inside and ordered - it took about 45 mins for the drinks to arrive. Of course they’re cocktails so a bit of a wait isn’t strange. When the staff noticed we were still waiting, they apologized and gave us a shot of tequila as compensation. They said there had just been a large order in at the same time and it was a bit busy. Fair enough.

Then the second round of drinks... this time, 50 mins. It became clear that anyone who simply walked up to the bar, as opposed to sitting at a table and ordering from staff, would be helped first. So I the end - 3,5 hours and 2 drinks. Real shame - put an extra bartender behind that bar and we would’ve gone on until...

I just gotta say, drinking that Brazilian Mule was so validating! First of all, it’s delicious. Not even going there - it’s a phenomenal combination of flavors and textures. But, the validating part comes from the foam. As someone who’s sensitive to eggs, I get sick and tired of people telling me that “the egg is undetectable.” Naw, hun. I’m asking about it because I smell it and taste it, and I don’t like it. This drink addresses that. The foam is sweetened, and dusted with matcha - so it smells like matcha. Furthermore, it’s sweetened, so it tastes like an immature meringue. It. Is. Delicious.
