I am the mother with my friend Tina went to the restaurant yesterday. Since I don't speak English therefore this comment is written by my friend in English according to my points of view. I wish all international visitors could have my experience as a reference.
Tina and I don't believe it how worse the owner choose to react the problems we raised in the previous review.I am sorry for them because they did try to make-up things in this incident. I am not sure if the owner did really replay the scene from the camera(if there is any) or the owner who replied my friend is the woman we met yesterday. They tended to cover the fault the woman made AND made up some details to change the story.
I am not sure if the woman or the owner lied about pointing me to ask for reheating the food for my baby, I never did.The box of food I brought from home was homemade(which my friend mentioned from the previous review). It was a baby food for my 15m-old daughter.I explained to the woman it was a baby food. she repeated that no food is allowed from outside. we put back the box to my bag after the unfriendly REMINDER.There was no pork, not even something looks like pork. its sticky congee mix with vegetables.
It is obvious that the owner/the woman wants to cover the fact and build up a baby friendly environment image for everyone on google. This is disgusting. Let's check other comments, if there was anyone mentioning the same thing? it is ridiculous that a dishonest owner ignored what is happened but made up another story. If you have any evidence to show to everyone I asked for reheating the baby food and there was homemade meat on our table.SHOW US. we apologise.
btw, we didn't ask for pork noodle. don't try to mislead the reader from google. AND. she asked us if WE ARE Chinese, not if WE SPEAK Chinese. We DIDN'T say she didn't tell us to take a side dish and an egg per portion. but A TRAY. SEE? the owner(the whole restaurant maybe...) tried to mislead the point in scenarios. we are impressive.
In short, we had a terrible experience in this restaurant. It was not the worst. The worst is the attitude of the owner in dealing with this incident. The owner denied and twisted the fact.We will never come back, and not recommended to our...

My friend and I arrived at around 6 pm. The only free table was abit dirty, but there were no other free tables. Nor did we see the staff cleaning up the tables. The place itself was very functionally decorated. Don't expect a great ambiance here.
You have to order at the counter like at MacDonald but there is no menu on the wall. Only some small menus on the counter itself.
We ordered 2 regular beef noodles. You can customize the noodles (thickness and type), we ordered the regular as we don't have much experience with Lanzhou noodles.
The lady who helped was not customer friendly at all, she seemed pretty mad the whole time we were there. We got no explanation about the complementary salad or egg. Some of the salad bowls were empty, I only grabbed some cucumber and cabbage.
Both my friend and I thought the noodles were too hard. The texture seems like undercooked pasta (1 or 2 min before al dente). There was little beef slices and it was a bit dry. The soup was fragrant with the chili oil ( I skipped the coriander). After eating I was still feeling hungry.
The person's who ordered before us also seemed pretty confused. The lady was yelling beef noodles several times, but they didn't understand if it was for them or for someone else. So there is a language gap if you can only speak English. They got a bowl filled to the brim with hot soup. Good thing they figured out there is a tray hidden somewhere that people can use. Or else they would have to walk back to their table with the full bowl in their hands.
There are a lot of noodle shops in Rotterdam. For me there is no reason to come to this...
Read moreNever thought that a small restaurant owner would disrespect her customer. Attitude can truly change after making some money.
This owner(lady with headscarf) treats people with different attitude, she greets to certain people and ignores some others. I was shocked when witnessing this at the counter while she did this to a couple.
She was being polite to customers( a Chinese looking couple) before that couple and when the girl tapped her bank card on the reader and the transition did not go through for some reason, this lady(restaurant owner with headscarf) laughed at her with no reason and when the boyfriend of that girl greeted to that lay(restaurant owner with headscarf), she deliberately turned her head back and turned around walked away. I don’t know what happened to them, but this behavior of a restaurant owner is not acceptable! What on earth, as a person running a business, how could you treat people like that especially your customer?!
After witnessing this incident, I felt very uncomfortable! It’s the Customers that keep your business going, and the customers should be treated respectfully, defiantly not going there and paying them and be treated like the customer owe them something.
Very unsatisfied! Very bad service! Very rude woman(owner, with headscarf)! Specially the lady with headscarf had some serious...
