Seriously one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had! I walked around the area and got hungry so I searched for a restaurant that was still open on Google maps. When I saw that there's an Indonesian restaurant a few minutes walk away from me I just had to go there and I don't regret it at all!! It's a very cute and small restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. There was basically one single dish everyone could order in three different sizes, different drinks (also Bir Pletok) and a dessert.
Not just the food was super delicious and filling but I really felt like I visited my friend's house to casually talk and eat together 😍 Everyone was so nice and open minded, it's really awesome!

Most Indonesian restaurants are run by Chinese. They cook differently. Chinese dishes are excellent but different to Indonesian. Someone who knows how Indonesian dishes should taste, will notice. Dutch people love everything. They eat "Indonesian" made by Chinese, Surinam, Dutch people, and love it because it's different, but when you know the real taste... Sometimes it doesn't taste as it should be, but then I smile politely and emphasize how nice the venue or occasion is! 😉
