Bagels & Beans — Restaurant in Rotterdam

I came to this Bagels and Beans because I tasted their beagles in other restaurants of this chain in Amsterdam and I really appreciated them, but here it was a completely different experience. The waitresses are 5 girls completely incompetent. It took 20 minutes only to have the table cleaned, then it took one hour to receive our orders, which came both wrong. The most concerning mistake was that, even if I ordered a gluten-free meatless burger, nobody checked if the vegan burger was gluten-free. So, only after have received my order and asked again if they were sure it was gluten-free, someone checked discovering that it wasn't. Consequently, I ordered something else, the goat cheese beagle and it arrived without walnuts. When I asked why, the waitress answered that walnuts contain gluten.... I'm celiac since 20 years and it's crazy in 2020 have to listen to those affirmations. These girls don't have neither a minimum idea of what gluten is and gluten intolerance means. This is really dangerous when these people serve food. I completely discourage celiac people to come here or, if they want to, they have to check four times to be sure not to be intoxicated, which is really...

Very friendly staff, but they hadn't been capable of preparing a proper bagel in a reasonable time frame.

I placed an order while there was only one other customer just before me. I've waited 20 minutes (no annoyed review exaggerating, I actually have this on record) for my order to be prepared.

When finally getting my order it was unfortunately messed up. We ordered a cream cheese EXTRA bacon bagel. Last time I ordered the same recipe in another bagels and beans in Rotterdam I got baked bacon and 6 slices, like it is supposed to be.

Came here before going to the office, I always see this place packed though. Got here early where there was no one and then it did indeed start getting crowded. I like how their menu has different wildlife themes with quotes. Anyways I started off with a mushroom coffee. Wasn’t too sure what it was but gave it a try, smelled different but tasted pretty much the same. Then I ordered an everything bagel with Thai sweet chili cream cheese. My friend ordered an orange juice and a sesame bagel with avocado and cream cheese. I enjoyed my sweet chili cream cheese, it was definitely whipped more. The temperature of my bagel made it melt....
