Cafe Restaurant Floor — Restaurant in Rotterdam

Dangerous place. Ordered and explained I needed Gluten Free meals. Waiter confirmed she would ask the kitchen to take care of that. Menu did not show allergens at all, and then my creme brulee was served on a gluten cookie with gluten cake crumbles all over the ice cream and I found out after eating part of the crumbles. Super annoying to have my health impacted by ignorant staff. My advise: If you have medical dietary requierements simply don't go to this restaurant. Asked the waiter what the suspicious cookie thing was. He was just like "mh, sorry, you want anything else?" No thanks, I am totally fed up with your unprofessional ignorance, your cluelessness regarding allergies and autoimmune conditions and what your ignorance means for people you intoxicate and trigger autoimmune disease. I like coming here for a drink. Especially in summer when their secret garden is open it is an oasis in the middle of the noise and the hurry. Not a big fan of their food, though. I guess it is me, because lots of people come here to eat and seem satisfied. Maybe so far I have just always chosen the wrong dish at the wrong time. Will give it another try one of these days. Who knows, maybe they'll surprise me in a pleasant way. They do have heaters outside, which makes this a good place to go when it is chilly yet you still want to sit outside ... to smoke...

Had lunch at Floor, but it wasn't a good experience. The food is okay, but I bit on a stone in the salad!! I'm glad my teeth aren't broken, but it definitely gave me an headache🤕 The staff didn't react well to it. They said: 'oh well.. salad comes from nature so this can happen' and we ended up paying full price! After speaking to 2 different waitresses and the chef, they gave us back only 4 euros (which is half of the price of that particular dish). You can guess why I don't recommend this...
