Live, love, Lucia. We celebrate our anniversary at Lucia this weekend and what an amazing experience it was, our host was very charismatic and brought a feeling of cozyness from the moment we came through the door. And talking about cozy their interior is divine. By far the most beautiful restaurant in Rotterdam. The environment was warm and all of the materials from the rich and dark wooden floors to the huge pleated curtains that separate the room, all is beautifully crafted (shout out to the lemon on every table, what a conversation starter!!) Now for the main dish (no pun intended) the food was fantastic, we ordered the surprisingly sweet and savory burrata with pieces of melon, the punchy pasta alla vodka, a dreamt, creamy, umami truffle pizzetta and the must order tiramisu. I think i don’t need more adjectives to imply the dishes were very tasty! (The were a bit under salted for my taste but they have salt and pepper at the table which was super appreciated) Lucia is fantastic! If you are thinking about it just go! You won’t regret a second of this fantastic experience :) ciao!!!

Wow! All I can say is, wow! We ate here this evening for the first time, exactly 4 weeks after their opening. Many restaurants at this stage are still getting into their grocer, but not Lucia. Their servers are on point: educated about the menu, attentive, inquisitive about our experience after every course, and very friendly. The food was fantastic. This is clearly going to be a heavy hitter in Rotterdam. I’ve eaten many courgette blossoms in my life, and theirs stuffed in talleggio cheese was probably the best of my life. Their fried polenta topped with steak tartar was also incredibly delicious—I’m not a tartar person, but this was one of the better tartars I’ve ever eaten. Their sourdough bread is light and airy, but crisp on the outside with a fantastic tomato compound butter, served in the shape of a cute tomato! We ended with the haricot vert and lamb shoulder, both of which were also delicious. To top it off, the decor and atmosphere is sexy, sleek, and fun. 10/10 recommend!

Wednesdaylunch , 🕛 p.m. , Italian food , tomato soup , cannelloni , lambshoulder , spaghetti . Drinks ? Aqua panna , Antica Fratta brut , Billecartsalmonblancdeblancs GrandCru . Hondurese Flor de Copan . A newly opened Italian cuisine based restaurant with a cosy 30’s based interior from the same owner of Louisepetitrotterdam . The tomato soup was nice and a delight together with the toasted piece of bread with garlic butter as a starter . The main courses of lambshoulder was a disappointment as were the cannoli . All blant and far from one would expect from the traditional Italian cuisine . And the spaghetti? To dry prepared and as a side dish non existent in taste . In all my drinks were the real highlights of this lunch wich should not be the case if expectations were that high based on the great culinary experiences at louisepetitrotterdam .

I went to Lucia in Rotterdam for a friend’s birthday dinner. We had a reservation at 6 PM and were one of the first guests to arrive. The restaurant was completely empty when we got there. There’s no sign outside, so we walked past it at first, but we recognized the interior from photos on Instagram and Google Reviews.

The inside is really beautiful and romantic. The candles on each table and the white tablecloths give it a cozy Italian vibe. It feels warm and welcoming.

We were seated right away, but it took some time before our order was taken. It was a bit noticeable that guests who arrived after us were helped first.

We ordered starters, mains, and dessert. Each round took about 25–30 minutes to arrive. By the time we got our starters, the whole restaurant was full. This shows how popular the place is!

The starters were good, especially the scallops. The menu looked authentic and had a lot of choices. The main dishes (cod and cannelloni) were good, but came out a bit cold. The dessert (chocolate) looked nice and tasted great. We also enjoyed the wine and coffee throughout the evening.

The bill came to about €90 per person (including tip). Overall, we had a nice experience. Next time, I’m definitely trying the tiramisu — it looked delicious when they served it straight from the tray at the table to the...
