During our stay at the Marriott in Rotterdam, we decided to dine at Pillars Restaurant on a rainy evening, and it was the perfect choice! Conveniently located on the ground floor of the hotel, this cozy spot serves fusion cuisine that truly impressed us.
We started with the carpaccio and oysters, both beautifully presented and packed with flavor. For mains, we enjoyed the steak, cooked to perfection, and the pad Thai, which had a delightful balance of spices. To cap off the evening, we indulged in a creamy cheesecake paired with hot tea, the comfort on a rainy night.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff made the experience even better. A special shoutout to Erol and Isabella for their exceptional hospitality, hey went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic dinner.

Then the food was presented ... looked very and the taste was amazing. We are looking forward to come back to...

I was waiting for my train and hadn’t had dinner yet, so I stopped by @pillarsrotterdam and got the Tom Kha Kai soup. It was lekker 🤤 I must admit I expected pieces of chicken to be in the soup, but there was, instead, essence of chicken. Very refined bowl of soup.
So if you’re gallivanting ‘round Rotterdam, or waiting for your train, make a quick stop and go check them out.
PS: this is located inside the Marriott across from Rotterdam...
